Any recommendations for me wanting to get a rescue parrot? I used to have pigeons(racing birds that I no longer have. I really want a parrot but it seems a lot of people regret it. I would love a Cosmo.
You can always go to your local rescue place but to be honest do a lot of research first before you choose to have this lifestyle. There is a lot of things that you will not be able to have in your house anymore, just to keep your bird safe. Most people want a parrot because they believe that all talk but reality is that most birds don't talk.
My best ever fave from Cozzy is "Mom, jerk" hahahah for me it doesnt sound bad at all coming from a bird, i think it is brilliant and just pure funny. may I know the story behind that phrase?
Lol, my mother has the habit of saying the word jerk. She will say "you jerk". So Cosmo picked the word jerk up and started calling everyone a jerk including Nanny. She will also say " Nannies a jerk" lol

She is a plucker, she was plucking before I got her because her first mom went to the hospital and never came home. We have been working on her anxiety since. Right now she has been more getting to her feathers because it's hormone season.
