Unless you are a whale I hope you take into account the opportunity cost of doing this for every tradeable mat you use. You are effectively buying leapstones/shards/stones/gems at the most expensive price from now until you use them when you save and use them on a character since you could have sold them for the highest price(minus 5% for market fee). Most of the expense here is in the cost of leapstones and honor shards(about 1.25million on US-West). The cost of leaps, class books, accs and gems(buying class vs rerolling silver), tripods will go down fairly quickly after Brel and if you wait a month to fully gear up(say going for 1445/60 week 1 instead of 1500) you can easily save over 400k gold(assuming leaps drop 15ea -120k, class books drop from 25k to 14k(like reaper)-220k, tripods(1k gold off each attempt, probably underestimating x5 x18)-90k. This is the price of rushing and you are better off getting some higher gems, high quality on gear and accs, investing the money. Don't rush unless you are really sure it's what you want.

Thank you for sharing the spreadsheet again! Big fan Swyo! Pro tip for anyone using the spreadsheet - read the home page! It will explain how you can expand the hidden rows on the resource tracker to more easily auto-fill and calculate the honing materials/chests/boxes/etc you have saved up!
I started preparing for Reaper 3hrs after her release in the west.
Made one with powerpass, got her to 1370 right away from the leftover stuff I had. Then noticed, I like her. Damn. I am poor-poor now

Man I want artist so bad, after juicing my reaper to 1460 I think she's staying right there and now every box, crate, random material bag is going to be saved for Artist.

The easiest way to prepare for new classes is with daily login rewards/bound roster material.
I started playing on Mari while valtan is my main server. Collect double login rewards and gaining gold pass 6 characters.
Easily gain 2x pheons and materials just for login in.
Day 1 1445-1475 with ez.
i've been saving up for a while for summoner as well. going to feel rich to poor pretty fast but new main this late.. gonna be expensive
i think its a mistake from Amazon to not release a event for Summoner, i have noticed alot of sprouts "new players" on my server with this new express event. And its a good way to get people to comeback.
They stated in the patch that If u want to Power and hyper express summoner you can save this event to use when summoner launches : )

Not everone likes reaper, so ppl are waiting for summoner, and dude, a "New player" cant use this, he/she need to progress throught the game until punika and lvl 50 on their own like we did in the First place, thats why the game uses catch up mechs to help reach faster, T1 and 2 are a breeze, u barely need materials, ALL the honing is 100% and u only need silver, so yeah, maybe youre in the wrong here.
I dont think its possible to use this on a fresh New account, u need to do ALL the story First to unlock It!

By the time New players reach arthetine and North vern there is a Lot of ppl that like to hang there, as their main cities and stuff, dude i was literaly doing luterra raputations and Saw players there, ppl stay spread in the main cities, the ones they like the most
I think another element that will advice that apply for people that want classes that comes until next year for mains: SAVE YOUR REWARDS FROM CHALLEGE ABYSS AND GUARDIANS, those pouches and chest will eventually also reward you with the next tier of mats that comes out with Brel in December (new leaps, new guardian and destruction stones).
This next tier of math will be your biggest pain since they will cost a lot for a long time (example how for a long time honor leaps in NA East were above 120 gold and over 1k when people start to arrive for t3 in the first month) since no many people will farm and sell them to match demand, that will save you a lot of gold
I'm using power pass and hyper express on summoner, can't wait!

Blue Maps give a total of 1500 shards for 3, purple maps give a total of 1000 shards for 1. Isn't combining 3 blues into a purple worse if your only concern is the shards?

Hi! Can't see why It would be "unplayable". Sounds like the typical BS from KR that you hear daily in the West. Every class and build gets better with higher gems but it's not like you can't play Igniter Sorc just because you don't have a level 9+ CD gem day 1 which would let you cast the big boom twice as opposed to just once. As for tripods, we can have 4 lvl 4s day 1, plus another God knows how many 4s and 5s from the day 1 chaos dungeons/auction house (not that you really really need more than 3 high level ones anyway).

The only thing about the west is the price for building your characters. Everyone wants to over price things in the auction house and then gate keep when you arent 4X3 perfect stats. Sometimes its feels like no one wants ppl to continue to play the game. The prices in KR was because they started getting inflation, but our game has had inflation since day one and everything is just too expensive to buy. They need to make another way to get accessory. The way that ppl play this game now is making it very P2W. You literally have to swipe to get things you need in the game just to do legion raids. It just sucks that the players are making this game more p2w than the game is!

I currently have 4 characters (Shadow Main 1490 - EW Deadeye 1460 - Paladin 1460 and i Just made a soulfist with this event, really liked the numbers on robust spirit.
I dont plan to make any more chars, since ALL the other classes dont appeal to me, i find all classes realy cool but i Just cant see myself playing them, so im saving those 2 slots for New classes that may launch in the future, when i see something i like i'll prepare for It since we get content after Korea.
I would love an actual necromancer class, Lost Ark devs make some amazing gameplay, i believe that their rendition of a necromancer could top any other game!
What do you guys think? / Wich type of class you would like to see?

Why do they only keep adding female classes
as much as i wanted to play lost ark and waiting for so long for a class to release. the idea of no open world pvp, bots.mp3 everywhere, very alt heavy and p2w totally ruined it for me. i can barely have time to level up 1 char imagine more
plus as i saw endgame is mostly dungeon simulator....
After 1200 hours in 4 month i've quitted this game. I dont know how people is still hyped as fuck after all those months. How they keep the energy and the will to work @ lost ark. (do all dailies on all chars ect).
for me, i needed legion raids to find a reason for doing dailies:)

Honestly at this point i don't see the point for new players to come to lost ark anymore as they have cut all gold sources from queats and most low ilvl content.. But yet whatever gives gold hasent been boosted... Kinda sad the way list ark is heading with the AH bots and all the dcing.. Just find something els to spend time on cuz this game isent for everyone anymore
