+SoftPictures | GFX I think it struggles a little pulling in 30FPS. However if you turn the PC upside down and blow into the air vent every 10 minutes or so I believe that it boosts to 40FPS.
Bought this customized with Titan z... tried building one myself and it came down to be 500 bucks cheaper... however in the end it was only 500 bucks cheaper because I didnt calculate the cost of windows, and it didnt have liquid cooled CPU and it had 16gb less ram... So I am not sure why everyone is saying building your own is cheaper. Hey even if it came down to being 500 bucks cheaper WITH the exact same specs, I would still dish out the extra 500 bucks to get the cool case, warranty and support, as well as not having to build one and go through trouble shooting... In any case, I didnt buy it for gaming. I will be using it for 3D rendering, (hence why I got the titan-z) I will be buying octane renderer as soon as I have it. This beast will hopefully pay for itself by the end of the year. After that I will look into customizing it with my own liquid cooled GPU and adding another Titan z, or perhaps a workstation GPU with more cuda cores.
I would say if you are looking to spend £1000+ then get a pre built unless you are confident at building your own and have lots of cash as with a pre built you can get warranty so if anything goes wrong then you can get it replaced but when you build your own if something breaks then you have to spend more money to replace it (speaking from experience)
Just bought 5 of these! So excited for it to come in the mail! I'm gonna hook up all 5 and have an extreme pc with 20k graphics! First game I'm gonna play is some minecraft at max settings.
***** i built my pc, spent $2200 on it, and it's fantastic. not a waste! i did get the top of the line everything though, just not the x99 platform. you're talking serious money then, and then you start talking about waste of money. especially this pre-built garbage!
I used to play on a 32 inch LED Vizio. Now i upgraded to a 55 inch LED LG with triple XD engine in it and it was like night and day.Wow what a difference.
Considering the aurora can hold two high end graphics cards and an overclocked i7.. it honestly makes me curious on who exactly the Area 51 is for? Considering that GTX 1080s can only SLI with two cards at most, you really don't need that extra space for that specific purpose. Other than more room for radiators if getting liquid cooled graphics cards or perhaps having a room for more fans in order to ventilate your PC better....what is the advantage of having an extra size and space?
I dont even PC game that much and even I know that pre-built PCs are stupid as fuck. Instead of buying alienware I just ask my PC friends to build one for me and pay them for their time. Cheaper then buying an Alienware brick for 3k lol.
He does play games, but on console. I've watched his videos before and don't just haphazardly assume stuff about people you don't even know. Also, everyone has a right to a opinion, even if they aren't familiar in a certain field. It's just a less informed opinion.
Okay, perhaps some clarification is needed; when I said not aimed at every consumer that clearly means you; who says they can built a better custom build for less. I'm not saying you can't but like I said use logic; don't dislike something just because it isn't tailored perfectly to your standards. Some people can splash their money left and right.
Sure thing mate, people do the craziest shit with their money. But that does not justify a clear waste of money. Then again I probably won't nag anyone on how they use their income. I just wanted to make a statement to share my thoughts :)
who gives a shit? bloodborne is cool but uncharted is shit we have hundreds and thousands of addictive... progressive and worthwhile game rather than the 5-9 hours 'cinematic' bullshit and beside WHO PLAYS ON 30 FPS AND 900P? eessshh
I bought this pc The basic model , I just put gtx 980 plus ssd from my old build , this case is 10 of 10 trust me , you won't find anything like this around
Best Buy has one for $3000 But it’s slightly specked out above one of their laptops only difference I see is it comes with the GTX 1080 vs the 1070 on the laptop plus liquid cooling and 16gb instead of 8gb.....is it even worth it or am I missing the point????? Could someone care to enlighten me??????
Yes, its cheaper to make your own PC with mediocre stats, that overheats and sounds like a 747 engine. And if your PC breaks then you're shit out of luck, and will have to buy new components at full price. My experience has been great with Alienware/dell. Its ready to go right out of the box, has amazing performance, pre-installed maintenance software, 2 year full warranty, and the thing is super quiet. It had a minor issue with a fan early on, but Alienwares tech support sent a new fan to me for free THE NEXT DAY and even offered to have someone replace and install it for me. Its easy to hate on something you haven't experienced yourself, and trust me, people on social media sites and comment sections are a very vocal minority.
ArthiTheThird Well needless to say the Titan Z is much more powerful. It is honestly overkill imo unless you work with CAD or some shit. I would wait a few weeks for the GTX 980 Ti to come out, and then run two of them in SLI, as it seems you have quite a lot of money to spend.
Thanks man! :) I graduated 3 days ago and ive wanted to buy a powerful Computer for animation programs. Ive had had problems with my Computer. The programs are lagging and sometimes they even crash. I also do livestreams but i have lag problems ingame. Thats why ive wanted to buy a new computer ). Thanks man :))
You can get the 970 gpu. You just have to call and ask about it. They'll let you tailor your pc a little more than what they show you on the website as options

***** Building your first one alone takes quite some time. Finding out how to do it and doing all the cable management for the first time is time consuming.
I bet that it's probably not that hard to build a computer. But the thing is, I'm a 15 year old girl who doesn't know much about building computers.. So I think I'll just go for the Alienware Aurora r5. It's affordable for me, it looks good, it works fine for me so that's basically what I've decided to do. I'm not an expert in this stuff, and it's much more better than the cheap laptop I have right now.
Try playing on 4096 x 2160 and i'm sure most pc's will have a hard time . This rig is made for such kind of resolution. Anyhow this thing is bling bling , because you can get same hardware cheaper by building one yourself.
Sammy D Yeah I play 1080p certainly wouldn't pay more for higher resolution but if they was a game that actually looked better (outside higher res) then that would be different.
jack darrell Overpriced? Yes there's no doubting that Alienware overprice everything, but junk? Hardly, Alienware is a solid brand (minus the prices) and this PC will last a very long time, not 4 months like you're implying.
This is a monument to why building your own PC is so much better. Companies like this mark up the price way high up past what they built the PC with and you lose that quality you could of gained without spending so much by choosing your own parts. It's honestly not that hard if you learn what everything does and how to buy parts intelligently. I gasped when I saw the fans. If this is the best of the best, it should have none other than Noctua fans for maximum noise suppression and cooling. Yet they put in the cheapest looking fans I have ever see in my life. Plus, SLI doesn't work with everything, it's sometimes smarter to just have one powerful graphics card because you don't need to do any tweaking for performance. (to each their own) Just disgusting. I do like the way the case looks though, very stylish.
I must say *****, this video scores 10/10 for that presentation. Lovely! Pat on the back for whoever thought of that and whoever actually did that :) About the pc, so amazing to see this kind of pc case. I liked the design very much, and i would to have more of these 'new' designs from more manufacturers.
Josh Shaw Woah! You are great editor/compositor. Keep doing this kind of stuff. :) I liked the subtle lighting of the case very much...nothing flashy. Can you tell me the weight of case? It looks heavy.
may someone please tell me the difference between the 3000$ alien ware area 51 and the 4000$ one? also if i should buyt he 4000$ one or 3000$ one. Thank! :)
Alright, maybe you can clear up some things for a nigga. I built an Area 51 on the Alienware site for 5200EUR. Then, I looked up the individual components on the interwebs to see what a self-build would cost me. So for the CPU, graphics, power supply, SSD, HDD, RAM and mainboard, I came in at 4500EUR. This does not include a case (at least another 150) or the water cooling the Area 51 has which is another few hundred. Also, you need to add cost for the cables to connect all the stuff and minor details as network cards, WiFi, BD Drive, if you're into that... So all added up, you'd pay max. 300-400EUR premium for the Alienware PC which comes ready to play, with full warranty and all that... It's bearable. Or what am I overlooking? People in forums write that you can save 50% and more by building yourself. That doesn't appear to be true.
What computer is better far as Specs go and which will run the Oculus rift better? the Hailstorm II or The Area 51 Alienware Those Specs are Hailstorm II - Intel Core i7 7700K CPU - 32GB DDR4 2666MHz Memory - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB - Exotic Custom Liquid Cooling - 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD - 3TB 7200RPM Storage HDD - Z270 Chipset Motherboard - 750W EVGA SuperNOVA PSU - Microsoft Windows 10 VS Area 51 Alienware those specs are -Intel® Core™ i7-6800K Processor (6-cores, 15MB Cache, Turbo Boost Max 3.0,Overclocked up to 3.9 GHz) -Windows 10 Home 64bit English -Alienware 850 Watt Multi-GPU Approved Power for Intel 6xxx series Processor -Dual NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX™ 1080 with 8GB GDDR5X each (NVIDIA SLI® Enabled) -32GB Quad Channel DDR4 at 2133MHz; up to 64GB (additional memory sold separately) -256GB SSD + 8TB (2x 4TB) -Intel 7260 802.11ac 2x2 Wireless, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 -Alienware Multi-Media Keyboard -Alienware Standard Optical Mouse in YOUR opinion which do you think would run the Oculus Rift better?
And this is why we frown upon Alienware in the masterrace, $4000 bucks for a not even really good pc (you could build yourself a NASA pc with 4000$). GJ gamespot, you promoted the worst pc company :/
God So Much Hate. Why dun u just click away instead of hating? This is great. If people are rich and afford it, let them buy. That doesnt mean they are lazy to build. Just because u cant afford it doesnt mean its stupid.
Depends on the specs. Looking at the specs on here, it's extremely overpriced. You're paying for the awesome looking case pretty much. As good as this pc is, it's seriously a rip off. Is it really worth $4000+ for this??? I think the new design is more gimmicky than practical. If one can bother doing a bit of research on pc configurations and hardware in general or just watch linustechtips, i think one can spend a quarter of the price to get their custom pc that is also powerful enough to run today's high end games. The alienware aurora is seriously an overkill, aimed at those who are too lazy or stupid, and too much money to spend. This is the only way i can justify dell's intentions...
970 + i5 is more than enough for most modern games today at ultra graphics +1080p. This is overkill as fuck, I'd rather get a workstation PC with all that money
Ok, I'm a PC enthusiast and all, but who in their right minds would spend 4.5k on a gaming PC? I wish I could buy the case separately though. It looks awesome :P
It will struggle to run Tetris at 60 FPS. If you lower graphics to low you MIGHT be able to run it at 30 FPS. If it doesn't work just dump it in cool water.
Can this game run minecraft on lowest settings?
+SoftPictures | GFX I think it struggles a little pulling in 30FPS. However if you turn the PC upside down and blow into the air vent every 10 minutes or so I believe that it boosts to 40FPS.
Kevin Sepulveda what if i water cool it by dumping a bucket of water into it?
+SoftPictures | GFX LMFAO
+MiltonPlayz Games hi guys what am I missing
+MiltonPlayz Games its called a joke bruv
Jesus, I had a heart attack when I heard the price.
the price is not that expensive
@Hunter LOL!!!
I like how he said at the end that the smarter move would be still to build your own rig. A good reviewer
Hands down, this case is cool.
Gotta get one of these
Pretty rad editing guys...

It is an awesome moment when you start minecraft at 4000 fps
boyboying10 hell yeah I can see it already. The blocks are going to be coming out of the screen.
@@GokuInstinct1
Hahah.
4000 bucks... You got to be crazy to spend that much on something like a pc...
The maximum you could go is $1500, but even that could be a waste...
***** i built my pc, spent $2200 on it, and it's fantastic. not a waste! i did get the top of the line everything though, just not the x99 platform. you're talking serious money then, and then you start talking about waste of money. especially this pre-built garbage!
Colin Rini Well isn't a 700 dollar pc more than enough? I just don't see the point in spending thousands of dollars on gaming
Colin Rini what kind of pc? Send me the specs so I can make the same pc.
Justin Espeoni Then Again, low end pc's really suck, you're facing a lot more problems when gaming on low end
I used to play on a 32 inch LED Vizio. Now i upgraded to a 55 inch LED LG with triple XD engine in it and it was like night and day.Wow what a difference.
I like the idea of hard drives and optical drive behind mobo tray, I hope more cases will have that
this pc is great i got it to go with my curved 69k diamond incrusted monitor on my solid platinum desk.

Genuinely impressed by this, didn't think that Alienware could redeem themselves with a build this well designed.
I dont even PC game that much and even I know that pre-built PCs are stupid as fuck. Instead of buying alienware I just ask my PC friends to build one for me and pay them for their time. Cheaper then buying an Alienware brick for 3k lol.
DreamcastGuy you don't even play of games, yeah your opinion means fuck all then. See how that works?

Can I add intel optane to this and is the ram changeable
Love how you used the music from Koenigsegg agera one 1 video
People are complete degenerates on YT, not every product is aimed at you, or the general consumer. Use logic rather than trying to act smart.
Well your comment would be correct except you can build your own PC that is cheaper and more powerful so that makes your comment rather invalid.
If I use logic, then making your own PC would be better than buying it prebuilt.
The irony right?
Okay, perhaps some clarification is needed; when I said not aimed at every consumer that clearly means you; who says they can built a better custom build for less. Yes it can. There are things called emulators you know.
How much is the 'premium price' for the case then? 1500 dollars?
what temperature will it be if triple titanX are fully loaded?
I bought this pc The basic model , I just put gtx 980 plus ssd from my old build , this case is 10 of 10 trust me , you won't find anything like this around
thanks, much help.
Wondering if it will be compatible for the gtx980ti when/if it comes out.
For this price you can get 9 PS4's and 1 game.
3:36
no. GTX 980 is only a mid - high end card, the 980ti, Titan 2 and AMDs 300 series are all still to come for this gen.
Can anyone answer this truefully...Isnt the tv that you buy a very important part of ur gaming setup?
Best Buy has one for $3000
But it’s slightly specked out above one of their laptops only difference I see is it comes with the GTX 1080 vs the 1070 on the laptop plus liquid cooling and 16gb instead of 8gb.....is it even worth it or am I missing the point?????

So it's a pre built gaming PC? And you don't need to buy separate specs unless you want to?
Yes, its cheaper to make your own PC with mediocre stats, that overheats and sounds like a 747 engine. Why hasn't Aienware gone bankrupt yet?
Yeah that's true.
***** more like uneducated people who know nothing about PCs and just think that alienware is the best
Because AlienWare is a part of an organization called Dell.
k skinox because dell doesn't overprice their shitty products right
Yeah but if the alienware division of dell isn't profitable, then they wouldn't hesitate to drop the ax on it.
love the case, is it possible to custom build a case ?
So what is considered a good price for a gaming PC?
this is going to sound really really wierd - but the sweetspot for sli is x2 - You would get less stuttering and fps drops if you took out one card
+Casper sanderson Aaaaand i take that back - thought it was the titan x's that were in this machine
Gtx 980 or Titan Z? Ive heard not so good stuff about the titan z. What should i take guys?
ArthiTheThird Well needless to say the Titan Z is much more powerful. It is honestly overkill imo unless you work with CAD or some shit. I would wait a few weeks for the GTX 980 Ti to come out, and then run two of them in SLI, as it seems you have quite a lot of money to spend.

I also do livestreams but i have lag problems ingame. Thats why ive wanted to buy a new computer ). Thanks man :))
$2500 - $3000 CAN should be enough for a powerful custom-built gaming pc right? (not the brightest on the construction of Pcs)
You can get the 970 gpu. You just have to call and ask about it. They'll let you tailor your pc a little more than what they show you on the website as options
Where can I get that Nvidia SLI bridge?
Do people really buy these systems? For this much money you could get a custom build supercomputer from Pugit or you could build something performing similarly for less than half the money.
If I would win at the lottery I might buy it... You know, just to not waste time building one. This is obviously made for rich, lazy people.
***** Building one wouldn't even take 2 hours
***** Building your first one alone takes quite some time. Finding out how to do it and doing all the cable management for the first time is time consuming.
So much preferable to just build a gaming rig for 1/4 of the price. These systems are for people with more money than sense.
***** Can't disagree on that one
mine is 5960xe, used to have 1080 sli. recently upgrading nvlinked rtx-2080, 32Gb ddr4. although its 4years old, it is still powerful
and guess the price. 2000. that is the two 2080 card taking up 1500
There are different versions on the Alienware website you can buy a 2500$ one with just a single gtx 980 graphics card
will it be quiet while playing games?
is it easy to build your own pc?
i would not know where to start

can u remove the 3 gtx 980 graphics card and put a 3 gtx 1080 on it?
Are they any games that make the most of this because my PC seems to run anything. I don't see the point of such a beast?
Try playing on 4096 x 2160 and i'm sure most pc's will have a hard time . This rig is made for such kind of resolution.
Anyhow this thing is bling bling , because you can get same hardware cheaper by building one yourself.
Let me guess your playing at 1080p? Well this machine can go up to 4k+, thats the difference between what you have and this.
Sammy D Yeah I play 1080p certainly wouldn't pay more for higher resolution but if they was a game that actually looked better (outside higher res) then that would be different.

looks cool and all but how does this affect ultralord?
Am getting this for a gift for my birthday. My grandma and grandpa is getting this for me....
Hi. Can i run minesweeper at low graphics in this computer?
That is a big piece of kit, and a big price too!
DAMN SON, WHERE'D YOU FIND THIS??!!
Is this pc good for Fortnite (fps ect) and other games like Apex or COD
Facts: PC were never met to be viewed as gaming, but only on CONSOLES.
This computer AGREE with the specifications can be played on three screens together 4K games
when u buy it do u have to build it or does it come already build
and can the cheapest virsion of it can run gta 5 on max settings
It comes already build, and I'm unsure about the game running, probably not on max settings.
Dose any one know witch is the best alien were laptop for your money? Or the best gaming laptop overall?

Can u run 250 frames on FPS games
As good as this pc is, it's seriously a rip off. Is it really worth $4000+ for this??? I think the new design is more gimmicky than practical. If one can bother doing a bit of research on pc configurations and hardware in general or just watch linustechtips, i think one can spend a quarter of the price to get their custom pc that is also powerful enough to run today's high end games. The alienware aurora is seriously an overkill, aimed at those who are too lazy or stupid, and too much money to spend. This is the only way i can justify dell's intentions...
That things is massive
For $4000 you could build an absolute monster of a rig, fuck Alienware!
I find it annoying when people hate on Macs for being overpriced, but not on Alienware devices. Your paying so much for brand here its not even funny
Imagine removing those gtx 980 cards and replacing them with the Titan x pascals.
Insanity.
How much is it
WHAT IS THE SONG??????? It's so good!
PS4 still powerful and cheaper with 2160p,120fs and Uncharted 4. XBone Vcr Masterrace.

"$4,549" Any interest I might have had was lost right there.
I wish I could get that or something similar
40 Celsius on the GPUs while idle, but barely push over 60 under load? I call shenanigans.
does the area 51 have a blu ray disc drive?
Yes but if you want it to be changed to a toaster then you just call 911 for they can use there magical bread to change it
what is the name of the 1st song?
i almost had a heart attack when i saw the price
970 + i5 is more than enough for most modern games today at ultra graphics +1080p. This is overkill as fuck, I'd rather get a workstation PC with all that money
A wise person once said (and i agree), "democracy (freedom to choose) only works if intelligent people are free to do whatever thry want".
No mention on the MOBO??? typical eh!!
Are there free games on the Alienware Area 51?
Ok, I'm a PC enthusiast and all, but who in their right minds would spend 4.5k on a gaming PC? I wish I could buy the case separately though. It looks awesome :P
I'm a pc gamer, but this is way way way overkill. 3 980's!? Madness.
That thing costs more then my car...
$5K AND YOU STILL PUT A WD GREEN
These things cost like literally $10,000 on Amazon...
I just don't see why you'd pay that much! Just build one yourself. Not only will you save money but it can be really satisfying.
but can it run tetris? and does it come with a free version of minesweeper? if not i think ill just go back to 1980 and get a windows xp pc
This can run about EVERY game with no lag
lmao
It will struggle to run Tetris at 60 FPS. If you lower graphics to low you MIGHT be able to run it at 30 FPS. If it doesn't work just dump it in cool water.
Instructions unclear; I am in africa
