Another wonderful painting. The details and colours are beautiful. I find it terrifying going over an area that looks nice, with the black layer. I had never done that till I found your videos. I’ve got a large half painted acrylic portrait of my son and my late mother in a beautiful embrace. I’ve been toying with the idea of using oils. Going to try now! In this painting is the background left acrylic or do you go over the whole painting with oils?

The background was left in acrylic. The foreground was finished in oils.
