👋Hi Marc, that's a very fine painting, a beautiful motif, harmonious colors and nice details. The grass looks awesome. Thanks a lot for this tutorial, I really appreciate❤

I'm currently working on this without tutorial. I'm going by your finished painting. I tend to struggle with grass as well. The left bit worked out beautifully, but I can't get the middle section right. Too dark, too light, too white, too whatever, grrrr, hihi. Much of the cottage is done though, as well as the trees to the left of it. I'm loving it!!
Even though there's no full tutorial I want to thank you for sharing this beautiful work! ❤

Картина интересная , хотелось от начала и до конца мк, с построения . Я любитель .Кисть у вас щетина , когда пишите траву? Сколько брать краски , что бы получился такой результат? Очен хочу повторить. Спасибо за ваш урок!

I recommend using a small fan brush when overlaying your oil on top of the acrylic underpainting. I have a modest amount of paint on the brush in order to produce some texture.

Sorry you lost all your hard work on the recorded painting lesson. Technology has a mind of it's own sometimes. It's a beautiful painting :) I struggle with grass as well, so really appreciate the lesson and technique advice. It looks amazing. I started a 9ft x 12ft wall mural for my youngest.... 10 years ago and am still struggling to finish it.... yes, I'll show myself out lol. I have repainted the grass 8 times, so thank you for this lesson very much lol. I don't know if you would consider doing a painting of a sunset above a sun soaked landscape, and blending it right up into space, showing stars and planets etc?
This is actually what I have been trying to do, and have been stuck trying to work out how to blend the colours without putting the landscape into shadows(I have characters in the landscape that need to be visible). I have tried several different ways and nothing seems to work! 10 years! I can't figure out how to blend right up into space from a sunset without it looking weird. Hope you consider something like that. I need to finish that damn wall lol :) I also vote for anything with Spanish galleons and mist. I absolutely loved your last painting like that #45 Pirates Hideaway. Also, what would you advise is the best way to make mist if you don't have a spray gun (Using acrylics only)? Thanks so much Marc, and I'm sure anything you paint will be awesome :)

Thank you for your comment. I am glad the tutorial was helpful! Sounds like your 10 year project has been quite the frustration. I'm not 100% certain I fully understand what you're after with a sunset that blends up into a starry night sky, but I think I would keep things moving from the sunset being pink in color by the horizon and then moving gradually up to the night sky with the color turning more dark blue/purple. Here is a video from Chuck Black where he demonstrates how to do this. th-cam.com/video/-rFS2Xadn5g/w-d-xo.html
I can try to put your request into my plans in the future. As for how to paint mist without an airbrush, here is a great video where you would use oil paint and Liquin Original. www.google.com/search?q=how+to+paint+mist+with+oils+and+liquin+original&rlz=1C1UEAD_enUS1002US1002&oq=how+to+paint+mist+with+oils+and+liquin+original&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigATIHCAMQIRirAjIHCAQQIRirAjIHCAUQIRiPAtIBCDk5NTRqMGo0qAIAsAIA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:210d5dd2,vid:jDiCuWN0XBk,st:0
