Full Clip Edition was a great update. Not only with the added Duke Nukem but it had NG+ make it so you started the game with all the guns from the beginning. Makes it more fun to play again and unlock all the skill shots.
Only real downside was that it launched at a sucky price with no discount for previous owners. Probably didn't help its sales much, which sucks because out-of-blue remasters like this are often interest probes for sequels :(
@@geekay99 Not completely. Bulletsorm's issues was an issue several games had, like Kingdoms of Amalur. It had to use with EA. Whatever it was you'd get shut out of being able to log into the game due to a sort of double sign in needed (stream and EA or Windows Live). It was annoying for previous owners but the new version being under a new publisher allowed the game to be played and that's not the fault of the new publisher but rather the old one. Additionally the whole sequel thing on this was EA's fault. They didn't promote this game very well which lead to poor sales. The developers said they'd not make a sequel because of the low sales. EA killed the game they produced. Sadly, not something unusual for them.
100% I love how he makes an effort to make sure his TH-cam watchers have a good experience too. It’s the little things like stopping the VOD recording whenever he gets interrupted or has to step away for a minute.
Great gameplay and it's fun and campy for the first half. Maaaaaybe they should have reworked General I-Say-All-The-NoNo-Words. Still a great game but definitely some oof toward the end.
TH-cam, I implore you to grab a handkerchief or something to prepare you for the ending because holy smokes, it was so funny. Imagine this game being made today. I feel like it would make a lot of headlines
Last time I played this the one of the cutscenes near the end was bugged and Gray didn't speak and just moved around as if he's talking. It was amazing.
I remember I got the red ring on my 360 once, about a year or so after getting it for Christmas, and was devastated. That is until i tried turning it on a few hours later, and to my surprise, it booted up flawlessly. One of my most stressful gaming related memories.
I remember playing a demo for this and having fun with it, but I never got the game since I was in college at the time and needed to budget game spending. Actually, I still have to budget game spending even after getting my degree due to my low income... ... Why did I go to college again?
This game was hype! It's super fun and funny while kicking enemies around. It was like Gears of War on steroids. Too bad it never got a sequel. I remember vividly skipping school as soon as I got this game and beating it fully that day.
getting this game on original release for the Gears 3 beta but twas a fun game to playthrough regardless, enjoyed the revisit too for full clip edition
This game was so damn fun. General man's definitely has some cringe writing. But all the pooty humor and ways they say ass clench are fucking hilarious
The only memory I have of this game is Geoff or Michael (maybe both) doing an achievement guide on this game with like killing multiple people with the sniper charge shot
Hey crew, just a quick question in regards to the description. Would it be better to point to gaelfox's bsky and/or twitch accounts instead? Mainly due to her Twitter account being set to protected. Much love, TH-cam frog. 🐸
I played this game back in 2019 cause it was free for PS Plus and got the platinum trophy. I had a good time mostly. Only problem was that I didn't know this game had NG+ so I suffered in the hardest difficulty for no reason since I chose that for my first playthrough. There were a few co-op trophies, one of which was annoying as hell since you needed near perfect synergy with your partner and had to spend like 3 hours getting it (iykyk). That and killing 5 enemies by lighting them on fire then kicking them into water to extinguish/kill them. That one was hell. Took like an hour getting it because the timing was so strict.
Besides being largely modeled on R. Lee Emory's character from Full Metal Jacket, I think I remember from some interview or another that a bunch of his lines were inspired by random assholes on multiplayer voice chat.
Gearbox only produced the Full Clip edition, which is why Duke Nukem is in it - Epic was the original publisher. This kind of writing ("irreverent" as people liked to call it) was just popular at the time.
I remember this game! Never played it but I have seen full playthrougha of it when it first came out way back when. And, as I remembered it, lots of dick talk. I think this is the one game with the word dick, or mentioning of dicks, out every other game that has come out. Also, shame to discover that this game never got a sequel because it did poorly (of course it did because of EA's outrageous expectations). Would have loved to see a sequel and it expanding on the fun gadgets and more cool skillshots.
Bulletstorm is such a time capsule of the game industry around late 2000s early 2010s. When you play it, the game legit has a fun loop that would still do well today as a smaller release. However it's surrounded by a lot of cringe writing, lack of color and just HUGES amounts of racism and sexism.
Holy shit this game is so bad lmao. Don't get me wrong the gameplay does look crazy, I could see it being fun but man I would be so overstimulated nonstop. Just watching it here is kinda doin that for me lol. Man the writing is so frantic and random as hell... this is certainly a unique game, clearly xD

is this the same voice actors from gears of war
Consistently the best twitch to youtube content. The little intro makes all the difference, man.
100% I love how he makes an effort to make sure his TH-cam watchers have a good experience too. It’s the little things like stopping the VOD recording whenever he gets interrupted or has to step away for a minute.
This game is a time capsule of 2000's gaming in all the best ways
This comment sums up Bulletstorm perfectly.
Great gameplay and it's fun and campy for the first half. Maaaaaybe they should have reworked General I-Say-All-The-NoNo-Words. Still a great game but definitely some oof toward the end.
One of my favorite games as a kid! So happy to see Ray playing it
First Binary Domain, then Bulletstorm. I'm half expecting Ray to play Bionic Commando next
The dialogue with duke nukem is great
Such much nostalgia watching Ray play this. Brought me back to playing this in 2011
I pogged as soon as I heard the main character voice i forgot it was Steve Blum
TH-cam, I implore you to grab a handkerchief or something to prepare you for the ending because holy smokes, it was so funny. Imagine this game being made today. I feel like it would make a lot of headlines

Haven't watched the vod yet but I love this game. The dialogue in this game is the funniest. Hope ray loves the totally hetero elevator moment 😂😂😂
God i loved this game as a kid im so happy youre playing it
I played this back in the day and then played Full Clip a few years ago. It’s such a fun time. Dude-bro gaming at its finest!
I've been wanting this playthrough for a while!🎉🎉
@Glasses, It's alright glasses you only had to be there for the full 5 hours instead of 8, that's a 3 hour improvement!
One of my favorite games of all time, I 100% this game and it was so worth it. It was so much fun and I wish I could play it for the first time again
Absolutely loved Bulletstorm
I remember playing a demo for this and having fun with it, but I never got the game since I was in college at the time and needed to budget game spending. Actually, I still have to budget game spending even after getting my degree due to my low income...
...
Why did I go to college again?
For all of the drug fueled sex parties that are all the rage nowadays
If I’d have a nickel every time I kicked someone so hard time froze, I’d have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but shitty it happened twice
God i love playing as dukie nukie in this
Im excited to see this game for the first time! TH-cam, you better give this guy some more nickels!
Best entertainer out there bringing yet more amazing content.
Slept through this stream, but hopefully you enjoyed this! Its a gem
The most I remember of this game was Jennifer Hale stating the dialogue was really hard for her to say do to the amount of swearing she had to utter.
I absolutely love BulletStorm, wish they made another one.
I remember when this game first came out and playing it. Middle schooler me had a lot of fun with it. God I feel old 😅
This game is like Borderlands and Ratchet and Clank had a baby. I love it so much.
This game was hype! It's super fun and funny while kicking enemies around. It was like Gears of War on steroids.
Too bad it never got a sequel.
I remember vividly skipping school as soon as I got this game and beating it fully that day.
2:56:30 If you need a PT fix, slept on actual GOTY RATSHAKER! Ask Chibi. Honestly a masterpiece.
getting this game on original release for the Gears 3 beta but twas a fun game to playthrough regardless, enjoyed the revisit too for full clip edition
Loved this game when it came it sad it never got a sequel or really anything
This game was so damn fun. General man's definitely has some cringe writing. But all the pooty humor and ways they say ass clench are fucking hilarious

53:40 I always say: boys never grow up, they just get bigger toys.

This game is HELL YEAH in a nut shell lol
Love this game. Played the original love the remaster. Would nut for a proper sequel. That is all.
The villain in this game feels like a prototype for handsome Jack. Basically the same archetype but Jack is less racist and sexist.
Besides being largely modeled on R. Lee Emory's character from Full Metal Jacket, I think I remember from some interview or another that a bunch of his lines were inspired by random assholes on multiplayer voice chat.
You know it's a Gearbox game when the writing sounds like it's from the original Yakuza translation.
Gearbox only produced the Full Clip edition, which is why Duke Nukem is in it - Epic was the original publisher. This kind of writing ("irreverent" as people liked to call it) was just popular at the time.
Beep boop, here is your paid bot experience.
Also, I'm really hoping Ray enjoys the game. I used to play the shit out of it when I was younger.
God i wish this game got a sequel
Hell yeah, loved this game
Let’s give this guy some nickels!
I was here (for the original upload)
Comment for algorithm nickels! I really like how [content creator] always [verb]!
I just didn't like the fact you couldn't switch out the rifle but it made sense

That sounds like Ashe from overwatch and if its the same VA I see why she was chosen
i know Steve Blum has done other voices but all i hear is Oghren
Head empty, clip full
I can’t believe it made it TH-cam 🤣
No dialog is wild 5:01:24

this game was such a wild ride when it came out. a one and done but still fun to play
Such a great stupid over the top game!

I wont write the comment i wanna write, so i'll just say Steve Blum W
The only thing I never liked about this game was the screen shake. It was so violent and unnecessary.
hope this comment gets you a couple more youtube nickels
