- Sorry not sorry about yet another detour from the ongoing projects but this kind of just happened and I am super excited. I got yet another RC and this one is unique and possibly one of the most high-tech land vehicles out there! The Losi Promoto-MX is here, and I am in love with this thing.
I blame Brice from @jack-o-trades for convincing me I needed this in my life, and I am glad he did. It was really fun, and it does have a learning curve to it and I am still figuring everything out! I give you my thought on it and I take it out for a run in the yard, it is not the best footage as I had no idea where to put the camera and it took a while to figure it out.
You guys are all awesome and I appreciate all the great comments and questions from everyone. Really enjoying talking to you all in the comments section.

Yeeeehaaaaa that's insane!!!! 😃🎉🍻, Mrs Addam is awesome!!!! 🏁🏆. I asked my beautiful wife if she'd pop into the hobby shop (160km round trip) and grab one while she was out getting bread and milk and guess what!!!!😁🎉🎁. Thanks for giving us an idea of its size, seen plenty of video's but had no idea👌. It was a funny moment when it disappeared into the garden down the back the look and response from Ingrid was priceless😂where'd it go😳. Thanks Brent! I had a heck of a time staying away from that tree!! I think the super fast gyro makes it more attracted to small trees but I'm no scientist!! LOL! Seeing it in person running around and riding wheelies is totally different than watching on video! It does take some area to run it in, I am hoping it will run around the track but I may have to take it up to the park and run it around to really open it up! Flying Fortress said it best, it is like a RC version of the Evil Knievel wind up bike!!!
Well Addam you have just floored me, your wife is a wonderful lady to support you in your hobby. Just listening to the two of you laughing and having a wonderful time is great. Yes get the first scratch out of the way (accident). Looks like you have a handle on the ProMoto MX. Great unboxing and explanation (short/brief) hope you enjoy the new addition to the fleet. Thanks Al!! Most of the laughing was one of my kids! The wife was not so quick to laugh as she knew the price tag of this one! She did not care at all about the tree, just as long as the bike was ok! It is pretty easy to drive around and get going. It does take a little to figure out the turning and I need to play around with the settings and the brakes going into the turn to tighten up the turn radius! It is the perfect new addition to your big field and new track! Not the giant speedsters you normally run but I think you would not stop laughing driving this!!
It's amazing how much kinetic energy that flywheel generates. Boggles the mind...😎
Yeah when you turn it on it spins up and keeps going and going and going.... That flywheel is cooking in there but it really makes it to where you can drive really slowly is you wanted to! It can easily drive and a quick walking pace on the grass and probably slower on pavement. I am very impressed with the engineering in this thing!
Man that thing scoots and I love the bike stuff, it’s so unique that when you see one, it’s automatically an interest magnet. Hopefully we see more companies start to make stuff like this especially for competitions
It is a really cool and unique experience driving it. Straight line driving is as easy as driving anything else. Turn is fairly easy and just requires a bit of space. With some practice and setting changes I hope to get it on the track! If not I'll get it out to the ball field and rip it around in the dirt!!
I am sure there will be racing with these on the big 1/8 scale tracks all over!
Hi there Addam, oh wow! What a great 3k subscription present from Mrs W 😊😊😊😊I’ve seen this in the UK online retailers, they retail at around £530, which is an a lot of money indeed. But like you mentioned, a lot of R&D, electronics went into this being a very highly detailed and easy to master RC. So, so, nice to have one featured on Addam’s Playground 😊😊😊enjoy the awesome Losi MX and a huge congratulations again on 3k subscriptions, so well deserved. Best wishes to you and the family 😊😊
Thanks John! It was a very nice surprise when she came home with it! I was not sure if she was or not!! It is pricey but way more worth than say a black edition Tamiya Avante kit! At least this is a fully RTR kit with a ton of features in it. The wheelie mode is the best fun! To see it pull and ride a wheelie with no more effort than squeezing the trigger is so cool and fun to watch! The video does not do it justice, you have to see it in action to really appreciate the size, speed and fun it is! I will git it out in the dirt soon I hope!
The engineering on this is fantastic. Very well done. This is the first video I've seen of it actually showing its size. WOW. Way bigger than a Monster Beetle. Great to see you get one and it looks like you already know how to drive it really well. Looking forward to seeing more videos of this.
Thanks Mike! It is a big one and I am not really sure where to put it! It is standing on my work desk down there as it won't fit on the shelves or in the bookcases! I will have to let the bike take credit for being able to drive it right away! It is very forgiving and it really wants to stand upright! It is a little harder getting the turns down but I think with more practice I will get much better at it! I plan on getting it in the dirt this weekend either on the track or out at the ball field. Not sure if I am ready to drive on the track yet!

Thanks Bud! I had a ball with it and It has been sitting on my work bench since I got it both because it is so cool and I enjoy looking at and I am not sure where else to put it, it won't fit on my shelves!! LOL!
I think the flywheel effect makes it more attracted to the tress than a normal RC is! At least that's my story!! My kid was laughing so hard at it but my wife was not so eager to laugh as she knew the price of it and did not laugh until it was determined it was all good! She cared less about the tree and was more worried I broke it in the first minute of driving it. To be fair it has happened more than once so I understand the concern!
I was surprise on how much grass/plant wrapped up in the so fast! I think I made it 5 feet of grazing the edge of the flower bed before it fell over into it. It could really start melting things quickly!

It is also huge, video does not do it justice, which is also a pretty big wow factor! I am not sure where to put it to be honest! It is too big for the shelves! LOL!
I had not really planned on getting one this soon, I figured since I did not pre-order it it was going to be months and months before I would be able to grab one. Thankfully my wife understands the RC market enough to realize this too and picked it up! It has wrecked my RC budget for a bit but it was worth it!

Yeah, My kid was cackling at the crashes and stuff! My wife not so much as she knew the price tag on it! LOL! If you don't turn the flywheel off it takes a long time for it to stop spinning. It isn't going to hurt it but it stops way faster when you turn it off. I think this is definitely THE release of the 2023 for sure! I hope so at least, I don't think I can afford anything cooler than this!!! LOL!

LOL! Thanks Brian! Not sure about the ring of fire thing! My wife probably wont go for those shenanigans! She knows the cost of this one all too well! Maybe a paper ring of fire! I still have to get out and practice some more to get the cornering down a bit better. I hope to be able to get it around the track but we will have to see if it can turn that tight constantly. If not I will get it out to the ball field for some runs and long wheelies!
💪yes Yamaha I had some wilder more reckless day's bit of motocross that is awesome I'm actually impressed now I've seen a good review of it it makes sense it will struggle to turn on grass dirt will allow it to break traction feather the throttle dirt biker's feather the clutch to get those on off burst of rear tyre great video Addam so keen to see more of this beast 👊
Yeah it is a little bit if a trick to get it to turn tight on the grass. I have always preferred Yamaha over Honda and Kawasaki so I am glad she picked out the blue one! It is a great looking bike and a lot of fun to drive but I do need more practice with it. It does very well at driving at low speed it is just the turning that needs to the right amount of speed to get right. I will get it out on the dirt, either the track or the ball field!

Yes he was! I sat down there the night I got it and just looked it over from top to bottom admiring it all! It was great fun running it and with some more practice I think the turns will get better too. I am hoping to get good enough to drive it on the track but not sure I have enough space, we'll see!

Yeah it was just a perfect timing thing! My wife got there just after they got them and put them out on display and both were sold that afternoon! Right place at the right time and the right wife there to buy it! LOL!! I will get it in some dirt this weekend and see what it can do!

Probably on the wet sand it would run really well. I am not sure how it fair on the dry loose sand... as long as you kept the speed up I assume it would do well! I have not seen one at the beach yet. Thanks for checking it out!
Don’t think I would have the same success jokingly nudging my wife to pick up one of these at the hobby store for me while she was picking up some paint for me!
She probably would of come home with just a picture of it, and the price tag, as well as a message stating ; “are you out of your mind?”🥴 😂
I’ve been following this on many channels! They’re awesome! I’ve got a few Rc bikes, but none so awesome as this. I can only hope that some budget version of this comes out on a smaller scale. I heard to add a few drops of cA glue on the muffler cap and it stays on reassuringly so. Great tips and advise and a truly amazing wife brother!👍🏻😎
I found a great lady for sure, she is very good to me and I am admittedly spoiled! LOL!
I think the problem with the muffler cap is looked lubed to be able to press in easily so it may pop off easily too! I am going to clean it up and a few drops of ca sounds like a good idea to not loose it again. Losi really did their homework and created an incredible machine. I don't know if they would be able to shrink it down much more, there is like zero room inside this thing! They have stuff stacked on stuff inside to fit everything in there. Who knows what is next from them but this one is a hit so far. My only worry is the longevity of the flywheel bearings. Take care Robby.

Well I have been watching a lot of video on these things and I have to admit this is the closest ANYONE has seemed to get to the REAL feel of a RC motor cycle. Awesome overview and I am amazed your wife just went ahead and bought it. I think I love her too.. lmao Great video brother. Sure looked fun. :)
Yes, they really did their homework and brought something out done much better than has ever been done before!! The tech and engineering in this are amazing and to be able to pull a wheelie and ride it out with just a squeeze of the throttle is really amazing!
I am a very lucky guy to have a such a great wife and she spoils me for some reason, which i am not upset about in the least! I question it often though! She is the bestest!
Absolutely freaking awesome or nuts.... I can't tell yet. All I know it's not for me, sure it's awesome as hell, and looks freaking cool.....and it's HUGE!!!
LOL! I think it is a bit of both nuts and awesome! It is a bigun and I have no idea where I am going to put it as it doesn't fit on my shelving! LOL! I plan on getting out this weekend and getting some more practice with it and hopefully run it around the track if there is enough room. It is pretty amazing how easy it is to drive. It can go pretty slow and be very stable and also rather fast and very stable. Not something common with bikes before this one. There are lots of other videos on it so I appreciate you spending time watching mine too! I hope to get it out in the dirt this weekend, either on my track if I can navigate it or out at the ballfield!

Yeah, I was not expecting to but I lucked into it as they had just gotten the shipment of 2 of them in right before my wife showed up at my shop! They were both sold that afternoon! I need some more practice with it but it will be back once I can get it on the dirt, either my track or the ball field!
Great bike Addam. I like these hidden features especial in the fork. The tree might be promoting itself for christmas😂. The wheelies are also great.
There is a lot going on with this RC! I love all the cool features and design of it all! It runs well and runs into trees to! LOL! The one 4 inch obstacle out there and I hit it twice! It takes some time to learn the steering but I was able to drive it right away and had little trouble with it staying upright. The wheelies are the best part and they are so easy as the bike controls them for you. Occasionally it can snap up faster than the gyro can self correct but that was my fault usually! I will get it out on the dirt very soon, either on the track if I can navigate it well enough or out to the ball field like the rally cars!

Thank you! It was not one I imagined I would get anytime soon as I assumed they were not going to hit the shelves. i figured pre-orders were going to claim them all! I got lucky as the timing was perfect when my wife went. They had just put them out shortly before she got there and were both sold that afternoon!

Thanks! It is a really neat one and I just love the looks of it and all the cool tech in there to make it work so well. In the dirt mode it will modulate the throttle to keep it from pulling wheelies but in the wheelie mode (the most fun) you can pull and ride wheelies fairly easily.
I love your vans in the background. You have some really nice cars and I especially like the Mutt Cutts van that I have seen in previous videos, that thing looks absolutely amazing!
Thank you! I have another kit sitting here waiting to get turned into another famous van! I love doing these and I had to pace myself as I am getting so many! I have ideas for more but I am not a fan of just having bodies hanging around so they need to be full kits if I am going to do them. I have a couple priority ones coming in soon I will be working on but I am going to get the other van done soon. I am also planning on trying to rotate out some of the cars behind me this weekend so soon a different lineup will be one the shelves!
This is a great innovation in the r/c world. I don't think you would've been able to run the r/c motorcycles of the past in grass. It's very seldom you see people like yourself so excited. Thanks for sharing your review. I think you may have to take your wife out to dinner at her favorite place. I am sure we will learn about any weaknesses. I have seen one video where they bent some spokes and broke one plastic piece. It's going to be interesting to see if other companies can keep up. This is more technologically advanced, but when the RTR T-Maxx came out it changed the industry as did the Slash. We use the word cool a lot, but this is cool.
Very true! It is not too often something comes along that is both unique and good! So far this seems to be both! I am sure parts will get broken, they always will! My biggest concern is that flywheel and the bearings on it. They are taking a punishment the whole time and I hope they worked out all the bugs with them in their testing. If they fails then the bike is bricked until it is running again. Overall I am very impressed and yes very excited to get something with this much tech and engineering and I was also taken back by the size. It is all very impressive and I can see classes for these opening up on 1/8th scale tracks across the country!
@@AddamsPlayground I watched a video of a couple of these on an indoor dirt track and that's a different environment. It will take some time. I have seen these on a BMX track and it's amazing.

Hey to get rid of that crease mark on he fender use a torch lighter and lightly hit it a couple times. We used to do that to real motor cycles and it works . Just don’t get it too hot and melt it
It is not too bad and I am sure it will happen again, it does tumbles really well and the front fender gets bonked when it does. It gives it the real dirt bike look to have stress marks in the plastic! All but the pro racers usually do have those marks and I am certainly no pro racer!! LOL!
I hope I can get one of these awesome bikes someday.

Yes! It is very much the old school Evil wind up but in a full RC platform! The same excitement and fun factor for sure!! I am sur the have the factory in full swing cranking these out as fast as they can as I think the demand exceeded their expectations! I was glad they announced it and then had stock on hand to be able to actually release the bike, unlike other manufacturers (Tamiya) that I ordered stuff in January and still have not gotten it yet! LOL!

Thanks! It is unlike anything else I have driven! I still need practice in turning it well but the driving part is silly easy. You can actually cruise at fairly slow speeds and it just drives like anything else! more on it once I can get it in the dirt!

I didn't need the distraction either but at this point I have just embraced the chaos and I am taking it as it comes! Too stressful to get myself to focus on one thing at a time, my brain and interests don't fit in that box!

No it trims nicely but probably not the best use for it! A proper trimmer is a cheaper option too! LOL!
Wow that looks epic Addam. I love the way you just needed a couple of cans of paint and ended up with this 🤣 Great first look video. Like you say I think you need a bit of space for these because of the turning circle. Reminds me of that Evel Knievel toy that every child of the 70's had although that went strictly in a straight line! Would be great to see this one doing jumps. Thanks Pete! Paint shopping can get expensive for me even when I'm not there!! 😂 Since it was in stock it was hard to pass up on and seeing how scarce they seem to be it seems like it was a good choice to go ahead and get one now!
Some more practice and I think I can get the turns a bit better. Driving it overall is super simple and the turning is the part where you have to think about it!

That's a good looking bike Addam we all wanted this bike as a kid . When we received a inferior atv that barely would move forward and reverse.
LOL! True! I always wanted a real race dirt bike growing up but never got one. I have had some as a younger adult but I am too fat and broken for riding one now! So the little RC one is perfect for a substitute!
Rumor has it that charisma is coming out with a dirt bike very similar. Also rumors of a street bike from Losi are flowing also
Yeah I heard a little something about that! I just don't see Charisma pulling it off as well but who knows. A street bike version from Losi makes total sense too! that would be fun to run as well but I prefer the dirt!
I know how you feel after watching Brice’s videos. He has done some amazing work. This bike is taking the industry by storm. Great to see. Hopefully they can figure out the run time limitations in the future although when you have a second motor running wide open, I guess it is what it is.
It is an amazing piece if technology and engineering and I really think it is awesome! I am very curious to see what Brice comes up with next! I can only imagine what he is working on over there in the creation cave!!!
I am not sure what the run time was on this first pack but I feel like I was out there running it around for 15 minutes if not more! I think that is not a lot in todays standards but more than enough to really enjoy it and get a good feel for it. A few minutes rest to cool off everything and another battery and you will be right back into and really running well! I think if you are not going full speed the run time increases, most of the time I was 1/2 to full throttle and it lasted decently.
I want one!! You drive it better than cars and it means that is a super engineered product.... Christmas is so far.... mmmm got to think it over. Ciao!
LOL! Yeah I think this is definitely the release of the year for sure!! Christmas will be here before you know it! I think you would love driving it but also admiring all the cool engineering that went into it! they packed a lot of stuff into a rather small area!

LOL! Paint around here can get very expensive. Usually when I go but this time I was not even there! I did not expect them to have have any but I was surprised when she showed me they did and even more surprised when she actually brought it home! I think with some more parctice i may be able to get it around the track. If not then I will take it to the ball field for some true dirt action!

Yeah they are a pricey one so getting two is very painful to think of getting. This one wrecked my RC budget for a while!! Hopefully by Christmas the new will be gone from it and they may have it one sale.

They really did! Lots and lots of testing and changes from what i have heard to get it to this point. It looks so cool and driving it is way easier than I imagined it would be, just stay away from trees! I hope you end up with one! It is a totally different beast!
Oh Addam, now I'm green with envy!!! That thing is soooo cooool! Like you said, you can tell the effort that went into designing and building the bike and rider, it really is incredible and so lifelike. You might know I used to race motocross back in the day so this RC is right up my street (or should I say MX track!!!) Thanks for the great overview and first impressions. Hiya Mark! I have seen some clips of you speeding around on a bike!! I do think they are going to come out with an on-road bike at some point. They have all the tech worked out they just have to re-package it all in a street bike! I think with how well this runs that a street bike version with a lower CG will really be a treat to run!!! The wheelie mode is the best and I just love watching it run around. The turning is still a bit tricky but I will get better and get it out on the dirt, either on the track or the ball field fairly soon! I think this is going to the the release of the year, I don't think anyone else is going to be able to top it. If they do I will be amazed and probably poorer too!!! LOL!!

Yeah it is a pricey one but I look at it as something like the Avante Black edition was pretty much the same price here and that was a remake of an old kit so this being all new, unique RTR with this this cool tech and engineering I felt ok with it. I still can't pay the $1100 for the giant SCX6 even though I want one! Maybe if I lived in the mountains! LOL!
I was good fun running and yes, my kid was laughing at my skills, my wife not as much since she knows the price tag for it! LOL!! It is all good and I hope to get it on the dirt this weekend. Fingers crossed it is not boiling hot out again!

@@mad-beerc3818 It is pretty easy to drive. Getting the speed right to turn quickly it the only thing that it going to take some practice. But upright driving is super easy, it wants to stay upright! I am sure it would do great on the damp sand, the loose and dry sand may be a lot harder but I am not sure, it is pretty smart! I hope to get it in the dirt this weekend!

Thanks Pete! It is super cool and I road as a younger guy, never raced but loved riding! It is unreal to see it ripping around and riding wheelies in person. The videos do not do it justice! They are pricey but like I said in the video for all the tech and engineering that went into this they did pretty well to keep the price where they did! I hope you can get one when they arrive, you will have a blast running it around. The only thing it is missing is the draappppp, brrrrappp noise from it but you can easily make that up in your head! LOL!

Yeah, it is 1/4 scale I think. So it is a pretty big bike but it runs well! It does take some space to drive it but I am hoping with some more practice the turns will get a lot tighter and I might be able to get it around the track!

So far it has been very fun and very cool! So far the only issue is just having enough open space to really open it up. I think this is going to be the biggest RC release f the year, I can't see anything topping the wow factor of this one! I hope you end up getting one!

You can turn it on while its on its side too so you dont need to carry the stand just as long as there is no movement in the bike for that first 5 seconds as it calibrates. I agree its not for small yards the turn radius is huge. Its actually better in the street despite being a dirt bike. My Spektrum battery doesnt even get warm.This is so different you really have to plan ahead as to where your going there is no reverse to get you out of a situation so plan on walking a lot lol.
Yeah, I found out after recording all this it does not have to be upright, just motionless for the calibration. It is super cool but does take some room! It was terribly hot and miserable out there when I was running so I was not surprised everything was really warm when I got done with it!
Yes, you will get some steps in learning how to drive it! You are right as well that route planning is much more critical with this and finding yourself in a 'oh crap' situation means plowing on the brakes and walking to go get it!
I am excited to see what else come out for these in the aftermarket. I am also curious if they are going to release a street bike version.
That thing is cool. As far as the 2 stakes. I would just slid them into the holes that u stake them through in order to store them
It is a super cool kit and I am still in awe of it! The little stakes are not a big deal but two little clips molded in would have been great addition. I just have them rubber banded to it to keep track of them and so they are not rattling around loose.

Yeah I completely understand! I did not jump right onto the pre-order as I wanted to wait a bit. Since it was one the shelf and it was going to get to be very hard to find one as the popularity grows getting one now made sense. My only worry is the bearings in the flywheel as they are going to get a lot of abuse in there! I hope they worked out those kinks in the 3 year R&D of it! I am sure it is not going to be my first go-to RC all the time but I can see it getting a good amount of use!

It is super cool and your long open front yard would be great for this! The wheelie mode is just great and see it riding one across the yard is something else! It takes some getting used to for sure but overall drives much easier than I expected.

@AddamsPlayground the truth is that only 10% of the pre-orders have been filled in the first phase . So if the second phase fills another 10% that still leaves 80% of pre-orders on backorder. So I don't believe I will see mine in July or August. But hopefully before Christmas 🎄 😅

I had planned on waiting for the craze to die down but since it was in the store and it was great timing (both of them sold right away) it seems like it was fate. That and my wife is a saint and likes to spoil me for some unknown reason! I am not complaining a single bit about it either! LOL!
I am still waiting for Tamiya kits I ordered in January! I am getting tired of waiting on them and wondering if it is still worth it. If they don't show up this month I am canceling those orders and putting that money elsewhere!

Yeah sadly it is bit more expensive. Overseas it just gets worse unfortunately. I feel like for the all engineering and tech packed into this it is more of a justifiable price tag than say a black edition Avante or something along those lines for a similar price. Yeah, it is not for everyone but I am glad you appreciate the cool factor of it. It is a pricey one too but I think it is a fairly well justified price (almost all new ones are too pricey!).

Thanks! I was very happy to have gotten one and it was honestly dumb luck she went into town that night and stopped by the shop as they had just gotten them in a little while before she got there and sold both that night! They might have been in the store for an hour or two at the most!
I think the flywheel in there makes it more attracted to the trees or something... It kept going straight for it!! LOL!

It runs very easily, turns take some time to figure out and I am still learning the best way to get a good tight turn. I am hoping I can get it around the track eventually... I f not then I will take it up to the local ball field and run it around up there! See how it does on the loose, sandy dirt!

Yeah I want to but need more more practice with the turning part before I feel comfortable sticking out there on the track. If anything I will take it out to the ball field and run it around on the dirt there! I do want to see it jump, it looks like it does it very well in the videos I have seen!

Yeah it would be worth getting set up with a couple just for this! I am not spending the money on the Spektrum smart stuff and mine fit, barely but they fit! In ones like this the extra punch of the lipo is welcomed and the constant power of them is worth it too. I do need to get more lipo storage as I have too many in one container. They are all well taken care of and more than properly stored but it would be a mess if one went and the rest followed! There will be more on this one once I can get it in the dirt!
Great review! This has to be the coolest RC vehicle out there at the moment. The engineering is incredible and looks like so much fun to drive. I really hope they do bring out different styles and variants of it.
Thank you! It is an incredible machine and they really seemed to have done their homework on this and not rushed the development and testing which is great to see. It is nice to see a new release without any glaring flaws or shortcuts in it right out of the gate! My biggest concern is the flywheel bearings and longevity of those. Otherwise it seems great! I am sure they will be doing a street bike version of this as well. It just seems like a natural thing to evolve this into one. Geometry is a lot different on them but they do have the advantage of a lower CG on a street bike though which would help stability. Th dirt bike is already very stable but bring it all down a few inches and it would be solid as a rock!

put it in mode 2 at 75 power and run on street. Mode 1 is for dirt .. only on the street mode 1 will flip it over and mess up …. Paint and rider !! Get drive time in on it. Use brakes to slow down turn and then gooooo
Yeah lots more time is needed to figure everything out! Thanks for the tips! The 100% throttle got me in trouble more than once! I am so used to coasting when driving buggies and trucks I have to retrain my thought process to hit the brakes more before trying to turn. I'll get out more with it this weekend and get more practice!

Yeah it was just pure luck my wife was in there at just the right time to nab one! They had just stuck them out on display! Both of the ones my local shop got in were gone that evening! Hopefully your shop will get a few in soon. I know the grossly underestimated the popularity of these! I am sure it is hard to judge the response levels of stuff like. Don't worry though, I am still waiting on pre-orders from the beginning of February of this year so I know the agony of waiting!

It was the Hobby Town in Fredericksburg VA. They both sold that evening though. I checked the next morning while talking to a friend and it was already sold. Sadly the underestimated the popularity of these and did not have enough. I am sure it is very difficult to judge these things and I am sure they thought it might be one that took some time to build up interest. They were a little off on the estimate!

Yes I will! It appears that they used some sort of lube to make it easier to insert into the hole and that makes it easier to pop out. I need to clean off the greasy stuff and then add a touch of CA to it so i do not loose it. It really is noticeable when it is not on there!

I wonder if is possible to come out with a heatsink to replace that plastic part under the motor? Maybe that way you can reduce the motor temperature? Maybe someone can come out with that piece to sell?
Yeah, I have not dug into yet. I am sure the twin aluminum plates do a lot to help dissipate the heat from the motors. It does have cooling intakes in the front where the radiator shrouds are. Not sure if a tiny fan would fit in there or not. There is a lot packed into that bike frame but I am sure the aftermarket it is in a giant flurry trying to build and get parts and upgrades out for it as fast as they can!! To be fair the day I was driving was miserable hot and humid so cooling the weather was not! LOL! I am sure they could incorporate some sort of finned chassis plates to help get rid of the heat a little faster!
@AddamsPlayground I can not wait for my bike to finally arrive. Horizon severely underestimated the demand for this bike. They are way behind on fulfilling pre orders.
@@lexsteel12 I think it is a dangerous game companies have to play. If you over order and they don't sell fast you loose money like crazy. Order too few and then you are.left.in a lurch waiting for the slow boat to get here potentially loosing sales from people losing interest. Hopefully they can expedite stuff and fill orders soon.

I hope the pricing drops a little after the initial craze dies down.
