I loved it. I was with a small, friendly group of tourists from all over, including the States, and this was the first thing I was doing on a hungover Sunday morning, a little over 6 weeks ago. It was very hectic, very busy and a hell of a lot of fun! The boatmen were hilarious - singing, cursing and beating their ores trying to catch the early morning currents to propel our boat through the very small opening. The driver had to fall on top of everyone through the opening so he wouldn't (literally) lose his head!
This is so sad. I went here in 1975 and it was exquisite, quiet, beautiful. There were tourists to see it, but not lined up outside in such numbers, and the water inside was pristine. You could see crystal clear blue water, it was one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. I'm glad I saw it when I did years ago.
We also visited several years ago. I think that it does not go any longer since it has grown old. The trip which was nostalgic and pleasant was remembered. It was cured by the smiling face which seems to be fortunate as for reflected people. Thank you.
Nice video, I don't remember seeing so many people waiting in boats to see the Grotto, but it was so beautiful I guess you can't keep a good thing hidden
I wonder if Italy takes into account the amount of damage that's done by all the tourists in this area - seems like it would be something they would need to limit the number of people on.
Warning: take motion sickness pills. After the motorboat gets you there, you transfer to the smaller row boats. Then you wait... and wait... and wait in line. Sea is very choppy. And if you're the least bit sensitive... Whoops! Splash!
People thinking to go, it's a scamm. 18€ just to enter, see the cave without any explanation about anything, and in 3/4 minutes you outside again. Is it beautiful? Yes, absolutely it is. Is it worth it? Absolutely no.
ANCHE IO UN ANNO L'HO VISTATA E MI PIACEREBBE RITORNARCI CON BELLE TIPE COME MINIMO 2 SONO POSTI MAGNIFICI DA RITORNARCI OGNI ANNO IN ESTATE A SOGGIORNARE

It is possibly to swim in the blue caves
Looks wonderful. Not as beautiful and not nearly as big as the one I have been to in Kastelorizo in Greece, but still good.
Voglio andare al’Italia!
Have they ever figured out where the weird music comes from? Do they ever have traffic jams in the grotto?
Lindooo
La grotta è bellissima, ma che tristezza "volare oh oh"... già si paga 13 euro, almeno fatecela godere in silenzio...
