Very informative video! I´ve been making mead for years, and i just got into making them more "exotic" after perfecting my trad recipe. I´m currently sipping on a strawberry vanilla mead @ 11% and this is something out of this world! it´s so refreshing and crisp! And it´s barely three months old. Gonna save a few gallons for later to see if it improves even more.
Wish I knew where the Market was for Passion Fruit . Because I Mow a Bunch of Em down with the Tractor 🚜 and Bushhog . That's why they are so Plentiful in One Section of the Property , the mower slinging the Seeds around . They do make a Pretty Flower and They Are Sweet . 🐯🤠

Hey Love the video! Whats the strainer that you use to rack mead off fruit in primary - to avoid getting bits of fruit stuck in the siphon. Thanks
I normally use a hop spider. It's meant for beer making but works well for filtering things!
@@ManMadeMead have you tried using a Big Mouth Bubbler Depth Charge to put your fruit in?
Really Appreciate Your Video , Thanks ! 🐯🤠

Dude your videos are great!!! I'm new to mead making so seeing these vidz are awesome into. Thanks 👍
this all reminds me I need to crack open one of my apple cyser bottles to see how it's turning out after aging for a couple months. :)
Teach me the ways of the fruit Master!
I'm not drunk on your blueberry mead just yet - But I will be later on... The one with Cinnamon 🍻😁
International and Asian markets are a great source for fruits and other things to put in brews. Thank you for this video, lots of good info :D
I don't know what your work schedule is, but I think you could easily offer a class on mead making at the local college. Cheerz.
My rule of thumb for when to add flavors to brews:
If you want to feel it, primary
If you want to taste it, secondary
Insightful!
I´d like to see more basic videos like this,I´m new in meadmaking
What about freeze dried fruits can you comment back to me please
Those could work. I don't have experience with them though.
@ManMadeMead thank you for the reply appreciate it
