Hello and thank you for the video. I don't understand what the point of having n8n locally is, since if I switch off my computer, the workflows no longer work? And how can I avoid losing my data?
In theory, yes. We have done some experiments with that but the results aren't great yet. It seems it might be easier to have an LLM generate the next step for a workflow than have it generate an entire workflow all at once.
Very confusing! Misses lots of steps, I think you should focus on one and explain it properly rather than bouncing around different screens with out explaining where and what you are doing?!
You can find detailed step-by-step instructions for the installation process here: github.com/n8n-io/self-hosted-ai-starter-kit And while the installation requires using some 'code', using the app doesn't ;-) (Unless you want to)
Are you recording sound inside the wine barrel?
Amazing. Great tool, thanks

We recommend installing n8n on servers, not on desktop machines for this reason.
How can i send PDFs to my vector? It only allows me to send written text in the chat box without an option to upload a document.
Thanks.
You'll need to store your PDFs in a vector store first. Here's a good example: community.n8n.io/t/how-to-chat-with-pdfs-using-pinecone-and-n8n/54344
I'm sorry to ask this, is it possible to train open source LLM to be an expert in n8n workflow building?
In theory, yes. We have done some experiments with that but the results aren't great yet. It seems it might be easier to have an LLM generate the next step for a workflow than have it generate an entire workflow all at once.
@@n8n-io Oh... that is more make sense... 1 workflow have AI specialized for its each node... wow awesome. thank you.

Additionally this is very technical with a lot of code for a low code app!
