I love this RV Reno. My favourite of all of the videos I’ve seen of these remodels. So inspiring! Thanks for sharing
Thank-you so much, and thanks for watching!!!
Good job guys!!
Thanks so much, and thanks for watching!!!
I bought a 5th wheel to live in full time just ove a month ago. Will be starring my reno soon. Gotta recoup my funds from the purchase.
Love your style. Very similar to what I'll be doing. Thanks for the slide out carpet tip.
Good luck with the reno! It’s definitely the best way to save some money!
I just passed you guys on the highway :)

Just the intro was enough to hit the like button. You did an AMAZING job!!!!!!
You just made our day!!!! Thank you so much for your kind words. It really means a lot!!!
I love this, you did a great job and I also love how simply you did it! I want to move my family into an RV, but hate all the outdated looks they come with. Great video.
Thank you so much for watching. We really wanted something bright and updated.
I’m a new subscriber. I enjoyed seeing your Class C renovation and ideas. I’m 69 and hubby 80 and we are considering buying a Class C to live in full time. I love the idea of using strippable sticking wall paper to make it cozy. I had that idea this week and then saw your video. Thanks so much. I’m saving your video so that I can review it when our time comes to move. This is our working up to year plan. I also started a TH-cam channel “CounselorSue - Creativity & Living Life” I’m new to all of this so learning and doing. One of our videos got a lot of interest “Two Seniors Camping” which surprised us. Cheers.
That is so AWESOME!!! We watched your video and subscribed to your channel. Enjoy the adventures and Be Free!!!
@@befreebensondiy Thank you so much for subscribing. One day I hope to have enough subscribers to supplement our senior income. We both were self employed most of our years and don’t have a company pension, just our government senior pensions, so living simply in a Class C might be a little more manageable and hopefully we’ll be able to one day supplement our income with our channel. Once again, thanks so much for your support. Stanley was born in Belfast, became an electrician, practiced there, came to Canada when he was 21 and eventually got his Canadian licence to be an electrician here. I mentioned your channel to him, about adding electrical receptacles and he was quite interested, naturally. Cheers!
What a great job
Thank you so much!!!
Ohh my word this is just stunning. My favorite is the kitchen.
Thank-you so much!!! You made our day!
@@befreebensondiy welcome
You both did a great job with the upgrades. I'm looking for an older class c rv, there out there I just haven't been lucky to find the right one. That granite model is just what I'm looking for. Safe travels, and be healthy. Toledo.
Thank-you so much! Good luck on the search and happy adventures!
I can’t wait until I get mine. Only issue I live in Miami. Trying to find where I’ll park it is the issue. But I love you guys RV🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. Good job
Thanks so much! We really have enjoyed it. Good luck with your RV!
Im going tomorrow to look at one in south Florida...I need to hire you guys! Looks AMAZING ♥️
Thanks so much…we love it!
Wow!! Looks amazing! I need more info on the painting process please. Did you sand? And what paint did you use? I’ve heard many horror stories about peeling paint etc .. thanks in advance!
You can sand, you can use a chemical sanding agent, or you can just use primer. Depending on the surface. I would recommend either sanding or using the chemical agent if your doing cabinets, but also priming with Kilz original. Then I used the Behr cabinet and trim paint. I would recommend thinning it just a little if using a sprayer. Thanks for watching!!!
This was a great video and your cottage is lovely 🌹 When you painted the walls and cabinets did you sand them first or just clean?
I have done it both ways on several different campers. I have used sand paper, also liquid sand paper and have just cleaned it well. Some form of sanding works best for long term use and maintaining the best finish. Thanks for your kind words and thanks for watching!!!
What rv polish do u use? Exterior
Buy fabric spray paint and you can use that for the carpet on the ceiling.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
How did y'all update the cab? Wanted to update flooring, seats and dashboard
We only updated the camper part. Everything in the cab was still in pretty good shape. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Its too fancy looking for my taste
Thanks for watching!!!
What great improvements and updates to your Motorhome. We have a 2003 and we are looking at updating it. It’s in excellent condition but outdated. How long did it take you?
Thanks so much! We tend to get really focused and work around the clock (whenever we weren’t at our day job), so I would say about 2 weeks. It’s so much fun to do…take lots of pics and video if you do it! We would love to see it!
Amazing makeover!!! At 14:51 and basically the whole video, is the dining/loveseat area extended? If so, do you have a video of it not extended?
Thanks so much! Yes it is. We don't have a video, but the next time we take out the cottage, we will take a video and post it as a short. Thanks for watching!
@@befreebensondiy Cool, seriously considering this model but have no idea what it's like pushed in. Wondering how wide walkway is, in case I don't want to expand it.
@@She_Tried_It You can access everything with it in. We love it for that very reason. You don’t have to extend to be comfortable!
Hey there! Just wanted to let you know we just posted a short of the slide out in vs. the slide out extended. Have a great day!
Where did you get the tooth brush holder?
It was already in the camper when we purchased it.
Beautifully done! What paint did you use on the walls? Thanks!
Thank-you so much! We used Behr Cabinet & Trim paint for the walls and the cabinets.
@@befreebensondiy Thank you!
Can you send me the link for the cutting board?
Thanks for watching!!!

Does the engine have to be continually running while occupying the van?
No. Lights will run of the RV battery (separate from the engine battery) until it dies. The fridge can run on propane and the battery. It also has a gas generator that can run all of the electric system using gas from the main gas tank. Once below 1/4 of a tank the generator will shut off to keep you from running out of gas completely. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Where did you get the ticks? In your RV?
What are you referring too- ticks?
I need one of these but cant afford one.
Buying a used one and remodeling it ourselves was a big help in saving money and allowing us to purchase one. Thanks for watching!
It’s beautiful. How long did it take?
Thanks so much! It took us about 2 months.
You guys do a beautiful job .can I ask you how much you pay for your rv
Thanks so much!! We paid 28,000.
Nice job but is not a camper … is an RV
Thanks!
