Mick is such a natural acoustic singer-songwriter... dead simple songs, a mellifluous voice and a pleasant face... could have been making a fortune in pop when he was on Guitar magazine!

One of the greatest review videos I have ever seen. I have looked at reviews of the vocal pedals for years and have a number of them. But after watching this video I imediately ordered Boss VE-8 Acoustic Singer Effects Processor Pedal From Sweetwater. Thank you thank you thank you. Yall really sound good singing on this video I mean really good and the guitar sounded great also. Do you know I bought one of those voice live three extremes. And spent a good part of my life turning all those knobs. However with this one it is straightforward and simple and just sounds great. How could you want more than that. Thank you again
Off the scale banter!!! And weirdly, one of the best combo's explaining and playing ever! And Mick putting Pete back in the box, whilst he tries to refer to the manual......just class! So enjoyable. And Mick's singing. That fella has great lungs!

It really is true! I'm absolutely certain that's exactly what Pete sounds like when he's hammered. And Mick at around 25.50 "Okaay, right, Iii'm just gonna say this.... I'm rubbish at things like this. I find it very hard to understand..." - Defo something you would hear from a drunk.. :-)

A Boss pedal that actually sounds half decent.
Still a bit over processed as are all boss pedals. But am liking this.
It would have been nice had you played with the phaser just a little bit longer. That’s what I was really hoping to hear more of.

The radio effect is ideal for Paul McCartney Uncle Albert song...but we haven't heard a bloody thing all day.
I just got one of these and so far I like it, but..boy...does it 'hiss' plugged straight into my Boss L1 compact PA; I have to dial down the VE 8 output levels for both guitar and vocal, and still it seems a very hissy unit at idle?

The Auto harmony doesn't just 'try to work out what key you're singing in' - it uses the chord you are playing on the guitar.
It detects the chords and the key you're playing in. This will then generate the correct harmony applying it to the vocal input signal. This can be done auto/fixed or hybrid. I guess you're both right. Depends on the context.

Hey Higher Vibe, I think this pedal can set male/female voicing, which then transfers to the harmonies. Mick should have tried it!!!!!
