My mom taught me and my sisters about people that come and go based on their convenience. She called them "fair weather friends" and also told us if we had 2 or three true friends that we were blessed. As I've navigated my adult years I'm so thankful my momma took the time to pass down the wisdom she had gained. I stay to myself mostly because I can't hurt my own feelings. Once I hit 2nd grade I didn't have any friends but I had a lot of being made fun of.
My husband's been there. All through life his real mom never loved him even tried killing him. His dad was hardly there, so he had to deal with his dad's wife psychology mess with him. Once I met him, we were in Iraq, serving in the same unit. We got together a bit after getting home. I didn't know till 3 yrs into our now 14 yrs of marriage that he was contemplating suicide. Because I came into his life, his family disowned him. He still struggles, but he is my husband, my battle. I'm not going to let him fall.
Dax is an undisputed goat when it comes to speaking the truth. I wish him the best with everything he's going through. I don't know what you've been through in life but stay strong brother! 💪🏽
Glad dax has made a impact in your life like he has in me and many others just keep going strong we're not meet to be who we are sometimes it's just hard for any one to understand but I'm in the same so I understand and respect what u say but when people are to far gone and toxicity it's not worth the energy we are about just all we can do is live and make the best of the time we have that's all we can really do
Hey brother I just discovered your channel not to long ago and something you said resonated with me. I am not a vet. But I understand all to well how growing up you and I. Your teenage years being the outsider someone never picked to play on that team for sports and having to be your own best friend through the years. I luckily finely reached a point where my life has turned around but It wasn't easy I'm 40 now and I'm finally in a different mindset but I love everything you said and how sincere you your a genuine amazing human being brother. I love your content.
I am also a veteran there has been times in my life that I felt like I was nothing..... In my experience if it wasn't for God show me love mercy and peace I think I would have joined a bunch of my battle buddies. Seeking God is not just the answer you also have to participate. Rip 10th mountain

Im curious what unit you was in, cuz I think you would fit in well with the crew I ran with back in those days! You being an 88M could have easily put you in my unit, but the military is big so I doubt it. 3rd Brigade 4th ID!
