I really think the deepest this goes is that most love songs are about how perfect everything is, but most long-term relationships are filled with these little annoying things that aren't a big deal, but also are
on the other hand you've got that point Robin Williams makes in Good Will Hunting, that it's the annoying quirky imperfections that make your partner special; that's the shit you miss when it's gone
Don’t let the haters get to you lol. The tricky part of reacting to Bo is that sometimes you have to dig deep into a metaphorical meaning and other times it’s a surface-level, goofy song. I say just enjoy it and take away whatever you take away. 😊
You know Bo's fans rented a triplex on Britt's head when she need to justify not seeing any "deeper meaning" to the songs. Sometimes, a fun song is just a fun song about everyday problems.
Weirdly enough, that itself is a deeper meaning.. like, with all the songs and movies about the big romantic gestures and such, meanwhile he’s focusing on the real stuff.. as you say, the everyday problems..
The hand choreography is actually genius for how smooth it is. And his in-the-pocket rhymes still surprise me with how tight they are - and I've heard this song tons!
Ive watched a bunch of your Bo reactions and you are cool af. For every super smart bo fan that understood deeper implications of a song, you caught a hilarious aspect of his gesturing tone or expression that a lot of people move right past and didn't stop to laugh about. I enjoy both aspects of Bo, but at his core he is a comedian, missing the comedy is a far bigger Bo crime than missing anything else. keep killing it.
No deeper meaning; however, the Drake trolling goes deeper than just being a vibe. Listen to Drake's "Controlla" and this song back to back and you'll see that it may as well be a Weird Al parody.
People tend to look way too deep into Bo's songs. And I confess, I've been just as guilty at doing just that. However if you ever listen to Bo doing interviews and discussing his music, he will state himself that there isn't nearly as much hidden meanings in his work as everyone believes. One of the big ones that he mentions is his Can't Handle This, Kanye Rant song. Everyone has tried to break that song down in so many ways for the longest time after it was seen in his special. A few years later Bo does an interview where he admits that the part about the Pringles can and Chipotle had no hidden meanings. They were just meant to be funny. Another perfect example was Britt's last Bo reaction All Eyes On Me. Bo literally tells people in the lyrics to not overthink the song, only to have her pause the song right after and start analyzing and breaking the songs inner meanings down. 😁 Again, not calling anyone out. I have been so guilty of doing the same thing for a long time. But when I saw his admission about the Kanye Rant song, I began to look at his music in a different light. And this isn't to suggest that Bo is incapable or never writes songs with hidden meanings. I'm just real skeptical about it.
You got it just fine Britt, don't let ppl get to you haha ik it's hard when you're a youtuber but truly, you have to enjoy yourself and it will shine through just fine!! ❤❤much love
His music videos of "Oh Bo" and "Repeat Stuff" have messages that are super simple and the videos themselves are hilarious. Definitely recommend checking those out. Much like this song, you can laugh and thoroughly enjoy the comedy without worrying that you're missing something deeper. Some songs are just for fun.
He's singing about mutual toxicity.. he's singing/describing from a male perspective and I can totally understand every single line from the depth of my heart
I haven’t seen any reactor think about this, but I had the thought, the song is five years, and he’s talking about a relationship, he could possibly be making a metaphor for his relationship with comedy and being away for 5 years
I think it's likely since he's been with his partner since something like 2013? They have been together much longer than 5 years as far as I know anyway.
I've heard this song countless times and it still makes me crack up. Mainly because I'm terrified of spiders and my girl has to reluctantly kill them for me.
Funny thing about spiders and gender roles is that in my relationship my girlfriend is the one who doesn't really mind insects. If I found a spider in the house, she'd be like "just let it be, it's harmless and eats other insects" and I would be like "no, we need to kill it with fire!"
I missed this song somehow! Thank you for making me aware of it, and I don’t believe there are any deeper points than what you already discovered :-) PS. My wife cannot for the love of life pronounce the letter ‘R’ (asian). Ten years, I’m still here….
"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." Oh Yeah? Well Sometimes its a Big Brown Dick! - George Carlin In this case, however, its just a cigar, and Your observations are spot on.
Honestly I think something that a lot of Bo fans seem to forget is that we watched it, in context of the special, already knowing him and what he does when writing a song, then listened to it 50 more times. If the songs are that deep (which I believe some of them are) you shouldn't be able to get that in its entirety on your first ever listen, that doesn't make any sense! It's totally fair if your first reaction to a song doesn't get everything because it's exactly that, a first reaction that's clearly genuine. Your reactions are super fun to watch and don't let people judging you get you down!
Dont think there is generally that much deeper meaning in this. Some here and there maybe. The only major one I can think of is that the spider could represent "any inconvenience". So the deeper meaning is a litle jab at some feminists for only being a feminist when it benefits them.
Speaking as a male: FEW women take food from a man, and some men allow it.. It is greatest trust test you can do early on.. We do NOT like someone, anyone, taking food off our plates.. If my mother would take food from my plate, I'd allow it, but in my mind I would be annoyed as fuck.. not annoyed like someone skipped in line, I mean irrationally annoyed.. I'd remember that to my grave.. I order exactly what I need, If I order too much I offer it away... But taking my food.. Remember, most apes would skin and rip you alive.. as human, I'd most likely accept it.. but lets say my friend did it.. There is no universe where he wouldn't get a speech talking down upon for assuming you can do that without asking... for females, it would be outward acceptance, once, more than that would mean something.. if it's a date, time to call the check and leave.. If your SO then explain.. It's fair If person says you can steal some of mine.. but just assuming.. No.. I've seen IRL people dying for less.. and it gives me the vision to say, NO, you just dont do it.. Just like I wouldn't stare at a silverback, I wouldn't steal another mans food.
I don’t get the fear of spiders. If it has medically significant venom, trap it in a cup or a test tube and move it. If not, just pick it up. I love finding jumping spiders, I always have some fun playing with them before taking them outside and try to find a nice place with plenty of bugs for them.
Allow me to regale you with an anecdote. "A man goes to a doctor and needs his blood drawn. The doctor notices that the man is squeamish around the needle. Doc: if you don't like needles, how did you get all your tattoos? Man: doc, its called an IRRATIONAL fear." Also spiders look creepy af.
@@RakkiXIII fair point. My irrational fears all pair up nicely with my (sometimes crippling) existential dread. Probs just don’t have room in my brain for nature fears. 😬
Haha, no worries about "getting it", thats what the hardcore fans are for. And that is what this song is about. This Inside album from Bo came out after Bo quitting comedy shows for 5 years so he is saying how people are still all over his d after 5 years and act like they are entitled to something "the dumpling" like a relationship.
It's just those petty little bickering arguments that couples get into after they've been together a long time, then later realize they were both being childish and laugh about it.
I guarantee 90% of the people that give you crap about not getting the meaning of his songs on the first listen didn't get the meaning until they read it somewhere themselves. Don't feel bad 😂 Commenters like to feel smart.
It's not about an actual girl. It's about his career. The 5 years represents his time away from comedy but he's also making fun of love songs and drake
Yeah this wasn't a deep song, probably why it didn't make the cut for "inside" which was really hardcore, and if you can react to it in full even if you split it into parts i recommended. This is just a silly fun song like his old ones.

Let’s see if she can find a deep meaning in Microwave Popcorn
Weirdly enough, that itself is a deeper meaning.. like, with all the songs and movies about the big romantic gestures and such, meanwhile he’s focusing on the real stuff.. as you say, the everyday problems..

Love that you've been reacting to Bo! Every upload has been great.

Don’t worry it’s not a metaphor, Bo is just singing about problems in a 5 year long relationship
I appreciate Her really paying attention to Bo’s songs
Spider fun fact: Spiders literally evolved to be scary and disgusting as a survival strategy.
You got it just fine Britt, don't let ppl get to you haha ik it's hard when you're a youtuber but truly, you have to enjoy yourself and it will shine through just fine!! ❤❤much love
this song is literally "Everyday Problems that Pile Up and Feel World Ending" the anthem. you got it perfectly ma'am
I feel like this song is really just about precious inside jokes and moments of their relationship.
He's singing about mutual toxicity.. he's singing/describing from a male perspective and I can totally understand every single line from the depth of my heart
I wouldn't call it "toxicity," it's just those dumb little things that couples bicker about in long term relationships.
What I get from this song is that despite the flaws both of them have they are still together. Kinda a reminder that love is about commitment.
Bo is absolutely not wrong on the spider thing 😂😂
The feminist spider bar is so hilarious. 100k plus years of evolution and its still you, still me, still here.
Spider is too real.

My wife is always eating some of my food and it drives me crazy. I've got to the point that I order her food even if she says she's not hungry.
That’s every woman in LA
This is the best reaction to this vid I've seen.
Hehehe team work 😊😊😊
I missed this song somehow! Thank you for making me aware of it, and I don’t believe there are any deeper points than what you already discovered :-)

Been waiting for this one, let's goooo! Happy Sunday
"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." Oh Yeah? Well Sometimes its a Big Brown Dick! - George Carlin
In this case, however, its just a cigar, and Your observations are spot on.
I'm in a long term relationship and this song is pretty funny. You find the annoying things about your partner after a while.
Haha, I have a sticker on my laptop that says “have the day you deserve” covering the Apple logo
I don't know how much metaphor is here, but it's been 5 years since he stopped performing.

You don’t have to know it all, it’s just a banger.
This is f.....g awesome
You got it. All good.

SPIIIIDERRRRR!!!
I'm afraid she will never react to the short but masterful song

The name 5 years holds a double meaning, as he stopped performing for 5 years
How did I miss that?
Recommendation: early Tim Minchin such as Inflatable you or Storm or Rock and roll nerd...
And if your looking for Upchurch vo hick ulaars check out "My neck of the woods"
Nah you nailed it with the Drake diss lmfao
You have to do the chicken one!
How many times did you watch this video before your "first time reacting" video?
I love this song. I legit just listen to it. It's a whole vibe. He Drakes better than Drake does 🤣
It's just those petty little bickering arguments that couples get into after they've been together a long time, then later realize they were both being childish and laugh about it.

You didn't miss anything. It really just seems to be about a dumpling
Oh err yeah the song is actually a big metaphor for um Marx's theory of surplus value. Surprised you didn't catch that.
he is 6.4
You're wonderful! love your reactions, it's okay if you eat off your husband's plate
Also react to Prof moron
I think this one isn't particularly deep or anything. I don't think you're "missing" anything big. Just a commentary on LTRs and shitting on Drake.
If you really wanted some dim sum then, You should've gotten then some then
This is literally a parody of Drake. How could that be a 90's thing?
IIRC this song was cut from the special because it didn’t fit with the other songs.
