Is Zoom better than Google Meet? In this video I explain how, after 2 years teaching online, the free versions compare. I've been teaching English online to groups and 1 to 1 using both Zoom and Google Meet but now is the time to decide on one.
In just over 9 minutes I answer some questions such as;
Are Google Meet and Zoom free? Are Google Meet and Zoom safe and secure? Does Google Meet and Zoom have unlimited time for meetings?
Once I go over the basics I then go into what features both of these free platforms offer. I analyse both whiteboard options, breakout rooms, safety features, captions and chat features.

We having problem about system saying host is in another meeting even tho its not.. And many times teachers and studnts waiting for each other.. Thats the big problems about zoom..

This usually happens if the teacher has started the wrong meeting. Many times the teacher starts their 'personal meeting room' instead of the scheduled meeting.

I’m a college student and I think that Zoom is better because all of my major subject teachers use Zoom and my minor ones use Meet, so that’s that I guess.
