      +Nelson LeDoux I appreciate the compliment. I hope it inspired the younger generation... And showed them that if you put your mind... And back into something you can do it

    Congratulations on achieving completion of that part of your Labour Day To-Do list - massive physical task!!
    Regarding the re-skinning: I don't know how it was installed initially but can you think of any way of perhaps rolling that vertical wall upwards possibly as far as the peak of the building to reduce the drag effort required to remove it? or perhaps you start at one end and roll / drag it towards the other end to reduce friction effort and possible damage when removing it?
    When we tarp a big triangle stack of bales it comes folded in a pleated fashion - we lift it up and onto the peak with a forklift (because it is damned heavy) and then drag it along the length of the stack but we obviously have the stack to walk on and you don't!

    Jeff, when you reskin the building, could you attach the new skin to the old and pull the old off while pulling the new one on? Not sure how hard it is to pull, but if you could do it in one process it would save time. Just a thought. Keep up the good work. Stay safe.

      +Robb Wendt great thought. Major concern is weight. Fabric weighs over 1000lbs. But it might work

      I wasn't sure of the weight either, but was just a thought to help save some time. Good luck and stay safe.

    When it snows and thaws out the layer of foam you put on is going to be very muddy there's no place for the water to go. Good job on the hole thing, it's fun to see what you come up with next 😊

    Geez Jeff.. I'm surprised I don't see black ivy growing in the corners and air raid sirens blaring. Looking like Silent Hill or something with all that smoke.

    For the new building, ask the supplier if he can make a building that fit underneath the bigger one, a building in a building. Than you your done at one es.down side you hav two buy two for one..

    When you get the new fabric....you should attach the new to the old....so you only have to make the pull one time.

    • @TheRealMartian
      @TheRealMartian  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      we are thinking about that...the key is weight...the fabric is over 1000 lbs

    Question: If water runs down hill, why did you put the open side of the polystyrene wrapping on the high side?

    • @TheRealMartian
      @TheRealMartian  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's inside the building where it get folded and sealed

      @samol1234567890 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shouldn't you make holes in the lower part of the wrapping in case water enter from a puncture hole (which could happen since there's not a large amount of soil above the polystyrene) ?

    well done - how long will the fabric of the building meant/designed to last?
