Ikr, i played Quake 3 for YEARS and never got tired of it, when i was a kid i thought it's a scary game because the textures of the game and the huge maps, walking alone on those maps waiting for enemies to appear on your face randomly ready to shoot you dead always scared me, another thing i loved about the game the most was the badass soundtrack.
This game was simply the best and i loved every second of it when i was a kid, even when i finished the game, i used to replay the game just for the songs, the OST is amazing, especially the song at the temple level.
Its great to see some 60fps playthroughs of the Serious Sam Games on TH-cam. Even though you played without getting the secrets. The description says "The game is kind of easy because health packs are nearly everywhere plus...you NEVER ;) get out of ammo." Yeah, and because you played it on easy. Don't forget about that.

@The_Grand_Secgend On hard difficulty you will always use almost all your ammo. In every Serious Sam game Hard is the best difficulty because you just have enough ammo to slaughter all those enemies and that's fun.
Me and my 2 brothers would spend countless hours on this game and never knew how to defeat the final boss and once we finally found out we were so fuckin happy. We played this and pokemon snap for n64 good times good times

You know, you should use- Shotgun - Kleer Skeletons Knife/Chainsaw - Gnaar, Sirian Werebull (By dodging) Double Pistol - Those jumping frog like things, Beheaded Kamikaze Rockets - Bio Mechanoid, massive swarm of units, the monster which summons fireballs (the boss you had to fight in the earlier levels) Minigun/Flamethrower - to get rid of swarms of units. Try to get used to this, am sure you won't have a problem.
I believe the point of mentioning Alpha Centauri in the crawl was to emphasize how far back humanity was pushed. Edge of the Universe to the nearest star cluster would be a big deal no?

There was a game called Will Rock that was basically Serious Sam in a Greek mythology setting. It wasn't as good but felt similar. It also had an intro song that sounds like (or maybe was actually) the Twisted Sister song "I Wanna Rock". EDIT: Oh! And I forgot about the game Painkiller, which was similar as well.
