Hello! Thanks for sharing! Do you prefer to join the base for your pieces like that? It is safer? Because , in general, I have seen to join the lateral side on the base,, thanks!
Hi Marcela. Yup, it's super safe! I've always done it like that. But just don't forget to watch the bottom to make sure the joint have attached perfectly.😉

Hi Sherry. Once you have finished making your pottery, leave them for at least 3 - 7 days (depending on your weather and your pottery size) until they become dry perfectly (greenware). You can google the character of the greenware if you want to be more sure about it. And that's when you finally can fire them for bisque firing. Then, you can glaze them. Lastly, you have to fire them again for a glaze firing. Hope this explanation helps you. 😉

What do you use to glaze the cup at the end if you don’t mind me asking?

can you do a shorter mug using handpinching?

It's a stoneware clay, they have a wide range of colors. :)

Hi, plastic indeed made your clay sticks. You can try to make them on a plywood board (no varnish), or maybe cover your table with a cloth. 😊
