    What a beautiful mug you made. I love the glaze. And the video is so relaxing. Usually I am not a fan of music in demostrating videos, but the music you choose is low and relaxing. 🌺

    Hello! Thanks for sharing! Do you prefer to join the base for your pieces like that? It is safer? Because , in general, I have seen to join the lateral side on the base,, thanks!

    • @SadurStudio
      @SadurStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Marcela. Yup, it's super safe! I've always done it like that. But just don't forget to watch the bottom to make sure the joint have attached perfectly.😉

      @@SadurStudio thank you! I love your videos. Now, i am trying with earthware, for me is all new, new learning,,, but, i feel that the stoneware is better, for its durability over time, it is reason your changed to this kind of clay? Muchas gracias!! Thank you!!!!

    can you do a shorter mug using handpinching?

  • @sherrrrrryy587
    @sherrrrrryy587 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Khonsa, I had a question. After handbuilding a piece for how long can it be stored before it's fired or glazed!?

    • @SadurStudio
      @SadurStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sherry. Once you have finished making your pottery, leave them for at least 3 - 7 days (depending on your weather and your pottery size) until they become dry perfectly (greenware). You can google the character of the greenware if you want to be more sure about it. And that's when you finally can fire them for bisque firing. Then, you can glaze them. Lastly, you have to fire them again for a glaze firing.
      Hope this explanation helps you. 😉
