This guys puts their time and effort in making these videos with minimal ads and I've been watching his vids since 2019, that was while I was suffering from insomnia and needless to say it definitely helps me sleep even now. So, no one here needs to raise their standards, you are the one who needs to learn how to enjoy the little things in life

I like the rain it helps me relax, and your voices help put me to sleep the stories even though I fall asleep, pretty quickly, listening to them help me to keep my mind from thinking about the things they keep me awake that really scare me like finances, Expensive home repairs, expensive, car, repairs, etc. and how long I will have to work before I can retire because I’m already 72. And have a son with a learning disability so the scary stories help me to sleep. Thank you.

First time I heard story #1 I had an after thought of wondering if the old woman was screwing with the kids and I kinda smiled to myself at the idea. Ever since I have almost had to will my mind into seeing the story from the author's perspective rather than the old woman's. Until this time. Tonight I went all in on being the old woman in the story and let me tell ya, I haven't had an out loud, gut busting, teary eyed belly laugh like that in far too long. Not to minimize the apparent trauma the author seemingly sustained, but I must admit, it's f*****g HILARIOUS to listen from the perspective of the old woman or even a bystander. Too bad our walls are paper thin and a gut busting outburst of laughter at 2:30 in the morning woke up the cantankerous old fart (and his cross eyed yap yap dog) of a roommate I live with and scared the living crap out of him. Oops 😁 Ok, so not ALL unintended consequences are entirely unwelcome. Any excuse to passively annoy him is a welcome reprieve from every day boring existence.

@@Peoplecallmemanny yup my first thought was perhaps she had Alzheimer's or dementia and wandered off. So many of these stories are centered around someone with some kind of illness. Be it Alzheimer's or some mental illness that people don't understand or know how to deal with. Don't get me started on my country's law enforcement and how they deal with these individuals. Definitely need to train these "public servants" how to deal with situations WITHOUT shooting someone or beating the crap out of them like they did my friend with schizophrenia. Instead they shoot or punch first and ask questions later. Usually later comes after the cops stand around and laugh and make fun of the person they just beat the day lights out of who is sick and off their meds. Sometimes yes force is needed but just because someone doesn't want to do what the cop wants doesn't give the cops the right to hurt someone. Unfortunately i think having a God complex is part of what they look for when hiring cops. I say either retrain every single cop in this country or fire them all and start over, training them the right way.
