As an employee at a YMCA, that YMCA story disturbed me so much! It made me so sick to my stomach! That lifeguard was not right! I just hope she didn't hurt any other little kids. 😢 Thank you, Being Scared, for another round of great stories! I would like to submit a story of my own someday, but I'm not on reddit. I guess I'm kinda old now and a bit tech challenged now. 😂 Anyway, I do enjoy listening to other's stories so much! And listening to your presentation and narration is so relaxing!

Listening to the YMCA story infuriated me…firstly because of the crazy lifeguard and secondly because of your mother not believing you…there’s no way this sadistic lifeguard should be in a position of guarding lives when she’s the one you needed guarding against. 😤

My scary story: I think I was around 6 when this happened (Im 11 now) and I remember having an iPad playing music to "fall asleep to." Although, the music wasn't really any lullabies. My bed had a slide on it. It was really late-or really early-and I couldn't fall asleep. I slid down my slide to go tell my parents when I had some weird vision. I saw a weird ritual being conducted with candles and a star etched into the tile floor. The star started to descend, and then I snapped out of it. In tears now I ran downstairs to get some water, stifling my crying as I went. I got back upstairs and did not sleep that night.

I'm bored so I'm just going to write down a creepy experience that happened half an hour ago. For context I am a 13 year old male and I live in the UK. Today I was super bored and wanted to go for a ride on my scooter down to the church at the end of my road and perform some basic tricks in the car park there. I am pretty sure that the church has been empty since 2020 and the car park is always empty The ride started as normal and I got about half way there when I heard a loud car from behind, so I stopped and looked at it. It turns out that it was just a blue fiat with an exhaust problem. The man driving it was staring at me but I didn't think much of it because I was staring at his car. I got to the church and started making sure that no one was there. When I had looked through all of the windows and made sure it was empty inside, I went to the car park when I froze. I saw the same fiat pared in the furthest space from me. I thought that maybe the man was visiting somewhere nearby but then I realised that there was nowhere to be. So then I checked the windows again and saw that a door was open from the outside. Then I saw something moving and I froze again. Then I heard footsteps and saw the same man approaching the window with a creepy smile on his face. I instantly thought that I was going to die. Then I snapped out of it and scooted away as fast as I could. Then the man started sprinting out of the church after me. Luckily there was a family walking and I stayed beside them and the man walked away. I wonder what would have happened if he caught me.
