When I was driving fleet trucks without any Bling I was always jealous of the guys with all the chrome and stainless and polished tanks. Then I drove for a company that loved it and I found out how much elbow grease was needed to keep the show truck shine; too much. Now this truck has just the right amount except for the visors ; I’d leave them polished stainless. Otherwise gorgeous

That's where the DEF tank SHOULD go all the time! Many guys would develop psychic powers and wiggle their noses and VIOLA! HUH?? Where did the DEF tank go?? IN THE TRASH??? (Where it belongs!)
I thought anything over 280” wheelbase automatically came double framed from the factory???
Maybe he will add a gen set opposite the DEF tank to balance it out. Maybe needs the larger tanks given a more rural / remote route. Deleting the DEF system would be illegal wouldn't it? Nice truck, low maintenance for polishing. Well done.

This truck is gorgeous! Thank you. Just being hypothetical here. If something were to happen with that DEF tank, wouldn't it have saved a few buck to order a small one?

I'm guessing this truck will probably have some "mods" to some of the factory required systems that may make it an "off road only" vehicle. I'm sure I'm wrong.

Again you said that you can't get a metallic chasis from peterbilt. This is not accurate. You can get an OAR from the factory for metallic painted chassis, you simply will lose the 6 month (only) paint warranty because metallic is a non performing paint.
Correct.....and it's a giant pain in the rear with Peterbilt. It takes an act of congress to get that done.
