What brand of paint do you use.? I have almost 100 bottles of acrylic paint ( required from learning Japanese style tole painting). I assume the runny consistency won’t do the tick?
I tried to recreate it myself but couldn’t be closer to yours. Does the base needs to be very thick? My paint dried while I was drawing the leaves unlike urs.

How do you like to finish the edges of the canvas? Leave as is or paint them? I’ve seen others that appear to be painted black. Thanks!
