I normally decorate the tree. My children always picked a special ornament, and now my grandchildren do the same. We get together Christmas Eve play games wear matching pj's and get up Christmas morning and open gifts. I love your living room decor for Christmas 2023. Beautiful. Blessings

I love not following the trends. I too went for a trend of neutrals and it just didn't feel the same. I switched back to what I love. Now I'm so happy with my decor. Thanks for sharing!🥰

New Sub here, enjoying everything, don't feel bad about budgeting, back in the day in the 70's, all I could afford was pinning garland in the shape of a tree on the wall and had my older 2 kiddos make ornaments to go on the tree, while we did collect Food Stamps, we baked every quick bread, muffins, candies and cookies and gave them to families for Christmas and plenty of goodies for ourselves, I did managed to get them a coloring book and a pack of crayons and to this day, the kiddos are 50, 47 and 36 their most requested Stocking Stuffer is a coloring book and crayons, no matter what else I get them, THIS is what they expect, this is their memory - Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Love that you do traditional reds and greens. To each their own but beiges and tans don’t scream Christmas. I’m doing golds and silvers this year but next year definitely want to go back to the traditional nostalgic colors. Your home looks beautiful 😍🎄

I'm glad you don't go with the trends sometimes. It's nice to do something different once in a while. I'm actually opposite you with the greenery. I got a green spruce tree, but I'm flocking it on my own. I've never had flocked trees or greenery so I'm excited to try it out this year! I’ve still got my autumn theme still up for the week are so ,take everything down for a week and then boom Christmas 🎄 I was late putting them up as I was Ill then I was away in Spain for a week n don’t feel like I’ve enjoyed them but we had a wonderful Halloween last night 1st time that I’ve really gone all out x Christmas is my jam n the things I’ve got to put up this year from jp Rd December diamonds raz imports just name a few from over there, had plenty of candy corn 1st time trying them and I’m in love as well with Hershey kisses ❤
