I don't generally like Virtual maps, because they're boring, but good choice of map, and positioning. Likewise choosing 1 of each Unit. Cost/value is irrelevant, because the Factions aren't balanced cost-for cost. Lining them up unit by unit removes Strategy from the equation. Tribal has 2 Ranged units, and an Artillery Mage. Bone Mage can take out Ballista, or Catapult, if he can make it that far. Viking has 2 Gap Closers: Berserker, and Valkyrie. And so on... That's what we're testing, our Ranged vs their Ranged, and defense against Range. Our Melee vs their Melee. Since everyone (Except Legacy) has 6 units per faction, 2 Ranged units means fewer Melee units, and vice versa. Mammoth can just soak up Crows. Pretty much all day. There's also Protector, but that doesn't matter if all the Crows, and Potions go to the Mammoth.
