Burnley 2.0 - Bouldering Wall Upgrade

In May 2013, the Burnley Bouldering Wall (designed, constructed and managed by the Victorian Climbing Club) received a much-needed upgrade thanks to a grant from Parks Victoria, supplies and resources from the Hardrock Climbing Company, building materials from Macpac and the hard work of dozens of volunteers. This is the story of the evolution of Melbourne’s free bouldering wall from its humble beginnings in the 1990s to present day - a wall for all climbers to enjoy, from beginner to expert.
