    hi friends,
    how has your week been?
    I wanted to share the experience I've had this year with realising my nervous system was dysregulated.
    I hope that if anyone out there has been going through something similar that my video brings you some comfort ♡
    here is the banana bread recipe:
    ingredients:
    140g butter, softened, plus extra for the tin
    140g caster sugar
    2 eggs, beaten or 120g mashed banana/120g apple sauce as a replacer (I used banana)
    140g self-raising flour
    1tsp baking powder
    2 bananas, mashed

It’s a perfectly reasonable question to ask ☺️l think when we see someone’s face in a video, it’s natural for us as humans to place much of our attention on that aspect. I choose not to show much of my face because I want the focus of my videos to be about the things I share, the thoughts I write, and the feelings I hope to impart on the viewer (comfort, peace, the feeling of being less alone, etc.)🌿

    I liked how you expressed your feelings, such as anger and sadness. In the past, I sometimes tended not to talk about these feelings, but two years ago I started saying, “I feel this and that,” and I accept, amend, and correct what needs to be corrected. I wish you days and a life full of comfort, joy and peace. Stay well ❤

      I'm happy you liked that. I think sometimes these more negative feelings are often not talked about so much. But we are human and to be human is to feel, sometimes the full spectrum of emotions. I wanted this video to be a reminder that although we may witness these emotions, they do not define who we are. We can choose to accept them and work on letting them go. I'm so happy to hear you have accepted them too 🤍 sending love and light and wishing you peace, always.

    Hello, dear friend!!🧡 I send you my virtual hugs and blessings!! I completely understand how you feel. There are so many changes in our world right now, and everything happens so fast. That's why, as HSPs, we need much more time and a calm environment to digest all these new inputs and energies.
    Maybe we can't go back to our old selves anymore, but we should surrender and find harmony and beauty in our new selves. I've recently realised that I spend too much time in my head trying to conquer the present moment. I've learned that the best way for me to actually be in the moment is to shift my focus from my mind to my body. Just feel. Just breathe. Just be.
    But nowadays, we have so little time for these essential things in our hectic lives that it almost feels like a privilege if you're able to just be in this moment and not in the past or the future. It has been a big lesson for me. I'm also learning how to navigate my nervous system, and I've recently started practicing a loving-kindness meditation (metta bhavana), which has been a significant help in my day-to-day life.

      hello my friend! 🤍 I'm so happy to hear from you again. I miss hearing from you each week, but I'm so happy to know you're keeping well and it sounds as though you've been being intentional with your time.
      you're right, with so many changes going on in the world, it can be really overstimulating. with my changes at home, too, it's been a lot to navigate, but now I know what the cause of my imbalance is, I feel more confident that I can have the right tools to heal myself.
      I too get in my head a lot, worrying that I'm not being present enough, worrying that I'm wishing my time away, or forgetting to be grateful for what I have. but in itself this is such an unproductive habit, so I am also trying to just 'be'.
      I looked up the metta bhavana meditation that you have been following, and it's wonderful! thank you so much for sharing, I listened to a full 20-minute video while sipping some tea and it was such a healing start to my day.
      thank you again for stopping by and saying hi, I'm so so grateful to read your words again and know you're out there in the world doing well.

Tenho combatido ansiedade e as coisas que mais me ajudam são: olhar e escutar o mar, assistir o pôr do sol, fazer caminhadas, brincar com meu cachorrinho, ter uma rede de apoio (amigos, família etc) para conversar sobre meus sentimentos ou trocar experiências...     I can very much relate to all your symptoms, I think my nervous system is often over-stimulated too, as a highly sensitive person this happens quite fast... One of the best rituals to help me relax and calm down is going for a 2-hour walk in nature. There I really feel all the stress leaving my body. 🥰

      I'm also highly sensitive, and one of the primary triggers for me at the moment seems to be noise. Kiki tends to make a lot of noise at certain times of the day, which causes Luna to bark. It sends my heart racing (around 135bpm haha), and I feel instant panic rush through my body, even when wearing noise-cancelling headphones 🥹 for that reason, I'm also trying to go for extra-long walks with Luna and Moose, to enjoy the beautiful autumn weather, but also give my nervous system plenty of time to calm down a bit. There's only so much I can do for myself at home when it's noisy 🥲 I'm really grateful to you for sharing your experience, it's really comforting to know others understand 🤍 I'm also really glad you've found ways to help yourself calm down when you're going through this too.       @@dalsol달설 I can understand 100% - noise is also a trigger for me! Especially with pets I think it's hard, cause we're "wired" to have extra attention for them and feel responsible for their well-being (and barking is "alarming")... my dog only barks when the doorbell rings, but EVERY time it happens, my body is immediately highly stressed as well! I hope, Luna gets used to Kikis noises over time, so that she won't bark that much 🧡 Wishing you a peaceful rest of the week too!

    I’m 57 years old and I’m struggling because I am my mother soul caregiver. I truly love her ❤ but she can’t be so demanding of my time. She’s 83 years old and we are both struggling with health problems. I am going to try some of your tips. I hope we all get better. I just need to be more balanced and set boundaries.❤

      hello friend, I'm so sorry to hear that you're having a difficult time. I somewhat understand the burden of taking care of unwell parents, as I watched my dad face the same difficulties with his father when I was young. although I haven't felt it myself, watching my dad struggle with it makes my heart hurt to know you are also facing similar struggles. I really hope that while taking care of your mother that you can also find the time to take care of yourself. remember that in order to give our best to others, we should first prioritise ourselves. please take care of yourself, if and when you have the time and energy. you deserve it and I'm sure your mother would hope the same. setting boundaries will benefit not just yourself but those you love around you. sending lots of love and wishing you peace and rest 🤍

Meine Mitbewohner sind wirklich sehr süß, ich fühle mich glücklich, mein Leben mit ihnen zu teilen ☺️ Und es freut mich total, dass dir das Apfel-Blätterteig-Rezept gefällt! Es ist so einfach, deshalb mache ich es oft, wenn ich Lust auf etwas Süßes und Sättigendes habe. Ich bin wegen der Arbeit in Seoul! Mir wurde vor 4 Jahren hier ein Job angeboten, also bin ich umgezogen, um ihn anzunehmen.     A mon sens il ne faudrait pas chercher l'origine de ton mal. C'est dû au changement de saison et l'être humain est stressé de nature donc à quoi bon stresser doublement. Vous avez les meilleures méthode à votre portée, la méditation, le yoga, moose, l'observation et vos jolis oiseaux. Prenez soin d'eux et vous verrez l'impact de votre gentillesse qui se refletera en vous. Namaste

      Merci beaucoup pour vos mots gentils et encourageants. Vous avez raison, le changement de saison peut apporter un stress supplémentaire. J'ai cherché des réponses cette fois-ci car ce que je ressentais me semblait plus intense que les hauts et les bas habituels, mais au final, tout revient aux pratiques que vous avez mentionnées - la méditation, le yoga, être dans la nature et entourée d'animaux. Prendre soin d'eux m'aide vraiment à mieux prendre soin de moi-même. Je vous suis reconnaissante pour votre sagesse et votre soutien, et d'avoir pris le temps de regarder. Namaste 🍃

    The hardest part for me is have to keep practicing to pull out my self from my negative thoughts and anxiety, if not it will easily fall back to the old trap 😔 thanks for sharing your feelings here to let me know that I’m not alone 🥹

      I completely understand, I go through seasons when it’s easier to keep up with these habits and some when it’s much harder and I fall off a little. In summer, I struggled to keep up with everything and I think that’s what caused me to reach that point of extreme stress, anxiety and negative thinking. You’re absolutely not alone, I really hope you know that 🤍

    That symptom is usually paired with overt sexual arousal as well. Visual stimulation....simply a physical person.
