you know the thing that chills me most about his beats, is that back in the 90's PR was the master of the basslines and bringing the music to for front than the rapper, what Dilla did is bring the sample out more than the beat, but it was still the beat that carried the song just in the background but it's how he used his basslines to carry the whole song it was settle but going with the sample it was perfect...there isnt another producer who has done that and we have had some legends...he was just a step above that he was a hip hop God....Rest in Beats..there will never be another....when a legend learns from legends where does that put you..in a higher place...
