Many people are gonna look back and wish they had the chance to see her perform, I can't believe I got to set her stage up and be back stage the whole time and help with props between songs. Such a surreal experience when we passed right by eachother on the same stair case as she was leaving I was coming up to clear the stage. Didn't get to talk to her but to be that close and get a sense of what a almost mythical celebrity looks like in person puts so much context into what she's really work for. I also seen her without makeup on her way to the hospital from exhaustion, that time I was right outside the black suv as she got in and we both stared right at eachother. I wanted to say something so bad but we weren't allowed as stage workers.
omg yes! what a great experience. the change of perspective from seeing them upclose ! just like you said, the work it takes to be perceived like that... unholy amounts of artistic work from so many people...
