John I just returned by Myanmar three weeks ago. You done a wonderful job giving people and sense of what the country is like. I'm already missing it Thank you
Very enjoyable! Much better than my own Myanmar video from my 2012 vacation. I think that your experience was probably better than mine. I loved my visit, but I was with a larger group (of 16 people). I don't like to travel in a tour group, but it seemed like a good idea. Because we were a group, we were endlessly targeted by vendors. Our bus would stop and the vendors would be on us in an instant. I didn't really have any interaction with regular people unforunately.
Thanks John for your great little video of AMAZING MYANMAR!!! You captured the essence of the people/culture/parts of the country beautifully with sounds & noises that transported me back there with emotion (no narration style is good). You see I just returned in March from a 22 day Southern (Mon State) & Northern (Bagan/Mandalay/Shan Hills/Inle Lake) Bike Tour I organized for 11 senior Aussie blokes through local operator Exo Myanmar. We were enthralled by our experiences and I have been making movies (rather too long) to relive it since. I SAY TO PEOPLE CONSIDERING MYANMAR (BURMA), GO THERE!!! I will try to make a little movie in your style....thanks again from another John.
I love the fact you did not narrate ... I could almost feel the vibe of the cities you traveled and make my own assumptions of the country rather than you selling it to me
Hi can you share the local travel operator details...thanks. I am planning a trip there. BTW this is an excellent video capturing the local life . Burmese are the most generous people in the world - personal experience.50 years back it was full of rice fields not sure how it looks now
