I have both programs but am still having some trouble and confusion. To get to the point, I am trying to apply my stripe designs I've created in Illustrator to t-shirts and long-sleeve t-shirts. What's the best way to go about this? I have purchased some PSD's for Photoshop (the Storefront mock-up bundle on creative market) which have quality mock-ups for all kinds of apparel. I still can't figure out how to do all-over stripe patterns. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hey John, have you ever heard of Affinity Photo and Designer? What do you think about using those programs instead of Photoshop and Illustrator?
tbh this is the first time I've heard of them. If they allow you to do the work you need, then go for it. Just keep in mind when communicating with factories, they may request pdf's, .ai or .png files to do their work.

Inkscape and GIMP are free alternatives to AI and PS respectively if you're on a budget.
Adobe let's you get subscriptions to their software including Photoshop and you pay about $9.99 a month

Have you tried anything with shoes special basketball shoes? I have looked into it and there are simpler shoe types to start out with like rage on and alive websites but nothing for specifically basketball technical shoes I figure bc there is a lot of technological elements for sports use. Have you gotten into anything like this?

Vectors are the best for printing, because of their limitless stretching ability. I would recommend vectors for prints in general, including on t-shirts
Hi John, what software would you recommend for someone to use to create patterns for boat canvas projects? Say a center console, I would like to be able to take a photo of the console, import into some software, add some dimensions and create a 3d drawing that could be used to create a canvas pattern that would cover the console. Any thoughts that would point me to a good software for that?
