Albert !!! You're such an awesome coach. I love how you instill confidence in riders even when they're a bit nervous. Great job man. Great job to all those students too 🙌
I was there that day having heat exhaustion lol. I'll clear this double in another life but thank you for breaking it down and congrats on 100K subscribers! Total professional
I remember going to the Professor Gary Baileys training as a 12 year old , I over come a lot of fears and became a dominant local racer for the next 5 years , something I’ll always remember .
I would love to attend classes. I broke my back in 2010 on my 450. Didnt ride again until last year when i bought a yz250f. Now i just can't get my cajones back.
Bucket list goal is to definitely do a class with you my man. When I come to America from Japan for pro drifting I'll try to find one of your clinics and a bike!!
Hey AJ, I remember you did a video with a sponsor for an office chair that was really supportive. I think you had it in your office or studio. Could you tell me what that was called or reply with a link to it?
Albert, would you recommend going to a taller gear if riding a bike like a CR250 2-stroke that doesn't hit its power till it gets into the rpm midrange?
I’m no expert and it depends on the situation but I would think if shifting will put you back just barely below or in the low power band if your pinned out screaming I would think so. if your mid to high powerband but still have some muscle left you would probably be fine. Hope this helps but like I said I’m no professional and I’ve never rode a 250 2 stroke.
Yes, as long as you have the speed ahead of time. You shouldn’t be “hitting powerband” on the face of the jump unless you’re preloading it. Most jumps are not preload jumps, so you should almost be hitting them with as little throttle as possible 👍🏼
Awesome video. What do you suggest when you’re trapped between gears? As strange as this sounds, it’s kind of an issue with the KTM350SXF bikes. 2nd gear feels too low yet 3rd gear feels too tall. In 2nd gear the bike pulls super hard but if you shift to 3rd the bike just kinda falls on its face.
What mode do you have your bike in. I have a 350 also and found the same thing. When I went to the aggressive mode I could modulate 3rd more and jumping everything got smoother. I was on a 125 before and screaming it was ok for me to jump things, but the 350 has so much power riding a gear taller will smooth out the delivery.
@@woodysrockspyro6436 I have gone up a tooth in the rear, then it just makes 2nd even shorter. It’s truly a transmission gearing issue. Third gear needs to be internally shorter or the bike needs more bottom end, which they’ve finally addressed in the ‘23 models. 724MX, I have installed a Vortex and had it mapped by Twisted Development and it is a huge improvement but I broke my wrist 12 screws and a plate so I didn’t get much time on it to test before the wreck. So I’m going to try to go up a tooth on the Front sprocket as Jaime at TD Suggested to get more out of 2nd gear.
@@straighttimestirrups I'd bet you could buy the 2023 2nd and 3rd gear to fix it. :) You get used to a tooth shorter pretty quickly.. my 2022 kx 450 is one more on the rear sprocket for the same reason. Most of the racers will even change Gearing for their track and conditions. Slipping the clutch doesn't hurt either. It is what they are made for.
You just have to get used to shifting that bike way more. I have to use 2nd in most turns on the 350, so I would guess you should absolutely be in 2nd for most turns. Then just have to get used to “short shifting to 3rd”?
Always happy to see other riders with alot of experience helping younger riders out 🙏💯
I wish I heard that last part from my dad as a kid only started to realize as I got older bet that kid rides a lot smoother from now on.
What was the last part you referring to?

10th St That's my track. It doesn't look like it on camera but that jump is intimidating. Campi's a little ripper
Those little guys are riding at a high level. Respect.

Love the way you explain things AJ 🤙

Hey you should check out AJs mx Park in Batavia Arkansas, it is a really fun track and the name fits you so well lol
To me, this is a biiig double. One day Id like to get there!
