Great video man just curious I’m building a 5.3 and I decided to go with the normal hypereutectic pretty much stock piston it’s gonna be naturally aspirated, but I’m gonna put a big cam and ported heads and an LS6 intake on it hoping 450 crank is that gonna be reliable?
Screw your budget. Get the better pistons you can afford. "Replacement" pustons are at least .080 inch at TDC. You will not have only adequate Compression to get down the road. Forget abou HP with Cast Replacement pistons.
That’s Lake Soeed Jr. - very knowledgeable guy and well versed in rings, cylinder finishes and oil. He was instrumental in developing the Joe Gibbs, Driven oil line.
