Whitby mine and our lasses happy place visiting next weekend , the great Gene Pitney he played numerous times at Batley Variety club he didn’t turn up one time and the stand in was Little and Large 😂😂

By your recommendation, Simon, the last time my sister and I went to Whitby (some time last May), we went to The Fish Box - I ordered my favourite plaice - not so much plaice as shark - it was big enough!
The sun always shines in Whitby for me even if its cats n dogging it. Had a Greggs bacon butty once and it was awful so wont be having another. Luckily theres many more better places to get one.

There was a club just up the road from me in Cleethorpes called Bunny`s place, back in the 80s . It was very similar to Batley Variety Club, it had all the best performers on there, I remember there was bus trips from my town to Batley Variety Club. I had the pleasure of seeing Gene Pitney at Bunny`s back in the 80s, his voice was amazing, just like listening to a record, sadly I could not get a ticket for Roy Orbison, I was gutted ☹.
As long as the rain goes away for next Saturday things will be great. If not we have brollies. My breakfast when the wife and I go to Greggs for a coffee the bacon butty is well worth the price.
Can you sue someone for splashing you with a puddle? Under the Road Traffic Act 1988, it is illegal to drive "without reasonable consideration for other persons". The law also bans "driving through a puddle causing pedestrians to be splashed".8 Jan 2022 so take his registration lol
Tell you what Simon, each to his own mate but if it’s OFCOM logon were me on such a horrible day I would have visited one of the three superb little cafes a stones throw away from where you were mate. Ive tried all three of those cafes but my favourite has to be the Singing Kettle, those lads know how to cook a dead right breakfast.

It's a spot prone to regular flooding.... and Simon regularly posts it...... Would be best to complain to the local councillor and get them to fix the drains and road surface....
