Cotton candy craze keeps Chocolate Storybook bustling

For years, they've been masters of chocolate. Now, Chocolate Storybook in West Des Moines is building a factory for something else! Steve and Meg Scherer’s lives have centered around chocolate-covered confections ever since they purchased the Chocolate Storybook in 2002. That is, until they happened upon 20 cotton candy makers. The Chocolate Storybook now meets a daily demand of 30,000 tubs of cotton candy. Watch as KCCI's Lauren Donovan takes us inside the factory that just can't keep up with the cotton candy craze.
