Hey, it's model railroad season again! Glad to see a new video. Nice job on the install, I am now very curious about the iPhone speaker. For the past couple years, I have been using Scale Sound Systems speakers exclusively. they sound way better than anything else I've tried. But I haven't tried iPhone speakers. Thanks for the video.
Thanks! I have a few different speakers including a scalesound in one of my other locos, and they do sound amazing. After playing with cell phone speakers, I couldn't tell much difference between them and the thin form factor of these is just so much easier to work with. The sound quality is incredible with very good low end.
Fantastic! I’ve been trying to determine how or where to fit a Tsunami2 & speaker in there. I had forgotten about the rear light springs. I’m really not good at electronics. I don’t suppose you’d be willing to do an identical install for a fee, would you?
That was interesting w/ the iPhone speaker.... what i did w/ my Athearn MP15 is I have two micro-plugs that plug into my SW1500 blue box that I gutted and use it for power pick-up and the other plug is so I was able to put in a Mega-bass speaker and in the MP15 i have a sugar-cube in it... Sounds fabulous... and thus eliminating the need for a Current Keeper as I have 8 wheel pick-up... DD 😜
You are a skilled, clever man. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for the video, keep up the great work.
Sounds great! Definitely makes me want to upgrade mine from the old Quantum Sound decoder.
Do you have the model number of that type of speaker?

Hello, how easy would it be to swap an QSI decoder for a ESU Loksound decoder on a Atlas Gold MP15?
