yes i love everything she is in .
@@tony-lx6cz tony, you have great taste, take care.
This is 1 of my favorite Charles Boyer movies. It was his favourite, & Liliom. Irene Dune is wonderful. Thank you for posting it. They appeared in several films together. Irene Dune & hubby became good friends with Charles & Pat Boyer, Pat Patterson.
I watched this movie many times and would watch it again …
Charles Boyer, so handsome and charming. He was great in Liliom. And Maria Ouspenskaya is always delightful. Loved her in Dodsworth.
I saw the first remake of this movie many years ago, but had never seen the original. I think this movie was superb! Thanks for airing it!
31:29 | his grandmother Knows she will not live to see him again. ~ Having Ms Dunne's Terry, run back to give his grandmother a final hug is so very perfect, as she senses it will be her first and final visit with this wonderful woman who gives her blessing and hope for the two of them to be together. ~ ♡
And its very sad that Charles Boyer 21 yr old son shot himself, then his wife died of cancer, and he swallowed a bottle of pills and died 2 days later.
You can have wealth, but its not always an easy life.
Wow! Thank you for posting this movie! I really more like this one than 1957 remade! And l love Charles Boyor's Franch accents English. Irene Dunne was such a delightful actress.😍😍✨️✨️🙏🙏
Terrific film. Ms. Dunne, so gorgeous, Mr. Boyer so handsome. They worked extremely well together.
This film is a true masterpiece. Perfection all round.
Love these black and white movies!!!💖
thank you for being a classic film fan!
Let your instinct fate kick in and lead you to your soulful place, which is the message.
Irene Dunne said that this was her favorite movie to make.
So did Charles Boyer.
This version is even better than the one with Cary Grant!
Thank you so much to have upload this film!
I agree, Charles Boyer& Irene Dunne have better chemistry & are frankly more believable in the roles.
I just wished that the studio who owns the rights to this movie would finally release a remastered version.
@@bernietinirau8160 an HD restored version will be released by Criterion in Feb 2022 and that version is currently streaming on Mubi
I guess I prefer the Cary Grant version because it’s the first one I saw. However, I so enjoy Charles Boyer.
Thank you for the upload! I’ve never seen this. ❤❤❤
Absolutely love this film 💜
And also please include, hold back the dawn 1941, backstreet 1942 and confidential agent 1945 all Charles boyer film classic. Thanks so much.
I think I prefer this to the 1957 remake, An Affair to Remember with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr - that a big statement as Grant and Kerr are fab!
Very nice movie to watch both Charles Boyer n Irene Dunne are at their best.Nice chemistry. The same director of this movie remade the movie name An Affair to Remember starring Carey Grant n Deborah Kerr which was also very good as this movie.
Yes I prepare this one too.
The Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr was lovely but not quite as lovely as this one.
Beautiful movie... This lady was fantastic...!
What a beautiful movie with a Powerful Christian Message. They don't produce movies like that from Hollywood anymore. What a pleasure I had in watching this beautiful gem. Thank you for uploading these beautiful movies of days gone by when America and The West were standing strong on their Christian foundation. May Our Lord and God Jesus Christ Bless us all. In The Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit The Only One True God as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end Amen 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💕
America was not, nor ever meant to be, a christian nation. Read the founders, and their thoughts on this before you make such blithely ignorant posts.
Have you got up off your knees yet?
Such a beautiful film. Thank you!

I hate smokers. They pollute the room!
That's ALL you got out of this ENTIRE story, huh?
I'm afraid all these black and white movies are smokers. Just like in Mad Men
