Chuck Billy is, without a doubt, one of the best lead vocalists in all of heavy metal, regardless of sub-genres!!! He can sing melodically, powerfully, and with conviction!! To be completely honest...Chuck Billy is a powerhouse vocalist! Testament kicks ass with him!!
It makes me happy to see Chuck and Testament still out on the road and releasing great albums. It is rare that this happens to a band, but well over 30 years into their career, Testament has the best lineup of their entire career.
Great questions and a cool interview. Testament have been criminally underrated for many years and I personally scoffed when the "big 4" was without them but they are getting more respect these days which is great!
We all love Chuck, the moment he appeared on the screen smiling with his devil horns he put a smile in my face too! Long Live TestamenT, come back to Greece guys!!
The Ritual was Good, Act 3 was Awesome. Force of Habit? that album Sucked. ( in my opinion ) Ask any Fan they'll tell you Fabulous & Impact were their Best.
This far into their career I was absolutely Blown Away by Titans of creation. So many good riffs so many good songs and CB's voice is top-notch. Vinyl release is amazing as well. Metallica should pay attention
Testament has been one of my favorite bands for over thirty years. Their recent album Titans Of Creation is another MASTERPIECE!!! I love every album Testament has put out including The Ritual and Demonic. They are also one of the greatest live bands I've ever seen. The current lineup is their best one ever. Every member is a Master at their instrument. I am glad that Chuck Billy recovered from the virus. He has always been one of my favorite lead singers ever.
@@chaoszine I can't wait to hear it! I'm purposely not listening to anything from it that's released early so it will all be completely new for me all at once.I hope I can hold out, the wait is killing me!
Growing up ..i loved listening to chuck billy and testament ..souls of black , return to serenity and electric crown has been my 3 favs but now i have gotten deeper in them and expanding my songs. Testament has that nice classic thrash sound that I love..chuck billy is a legend 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
This surely was a great show to see. The best one of 2020 for me so far =) Looking for Slipknot show on next weeks monday. Hopefully I will get good news about interview :D
The Night of the Witch is a killer so g, probably the best they wrote since The Gathering. Already one of my favourite ever live Testament songs for sure. I’ve been to the London gig last Friday when they played Children of the Next Level live for the first time. It’s great but because it’s slower and more complex I think it does need for the crowd to know the words to respond to it stronger, hail Testament, I cannot wait to heat the whole album \m/
That would have been fucking awesome brother! I grew up in New Zealand in the 80s, not exactly SF, but I'm still honoured to say I lived that era. Stay heavy bro, and greetings from Sunshine Coast, Australia!
NZ has Alien Weaponry and they are the shit! Those lads have a bright future ahead. I can't wait for their next album! Its funny being an old metal head. My grandson is 10yrs old and tells me to turn down the music in the car. Lol
Amazing how many of the guys in these 80s bands still have all their hair isn't it? (Lars, Scott Ian & Kerry King are the only exceptions I can think of).
I hope they will squeeze in a Las Vegas show this tour. I know Las Vegas can be cheesy but there are a hell of a lot of metal fans living here that would love to see them.
Seen them on every tour since Practice. And yes, I was at the 1989 show at the Santa Monica Civic. Cannot wait for May 28th. Anaheim is going to burn!!!
I saw Slayer three times at the Hollywood Palladium and the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium during the 80's - the first time was in '85 at the Palladium with Venom headlining and Exodus opening. Those were the days 🤘🏼
@@JoJoWarDrummer48 Ah, I guess it was - just Googled it. Lol I saw Slayer at both areas between 1985 and '87, so I got the venues mixed up. I have that flyer somewhere.
HinjuRock Very cool... We lived about a mile from Tom (Araya) we use to watch them practice in the garage even before Show No Mercy came out. Crazy to think watching learn their their Show No Mercy album songs... ... .... My brother and I started ARCHENEMY (the original from LA) back in 84. Then my brother (Steve) started L.K.K. (Latch Key Kids) in ‘85

For sure.
Chuck Billy, and Kyle Thomas are probably more two favorite vocalist in metal...
100% brother!
Billy Reynolds absolute truth
For sure

They are just killer live everytime! 🤟🤟
Titans of Creation is a monster album...very glad these guys are still around kicking ass.

Can't wait for the album!
Same here.

Chuck's a cool dude.
I've ran into him several times in my town, plus we have the same dentist. Lol
wtf🤣🤣🔥Thats lit asf
Why was TESTAMENT not on the Big Four Tour ???????
Testament and Slayer are my favorite thrash bands
exactly mine too, brother!
Testament : The Ritual........ Death Angel : Act lll.........Exodus : Force of Habit......... three of the best albums ever made 🍺🤘👍
The Ritual was Good, Act 3 was Awesome. Force of Habit? that album Sucked. ( in my opinion ) Ask any Fan they'll tell you Fabulous & Impact were their Best.
Agreed three of the best albums by those thrashers. 90-92 lots of heavy bands put out really unique but still headbanger albums.🤘
Exodus Bonded by blood is the best!!!666
gladiator22666 force of habit is ehh but I would much prefer bonded by blood, tempo of the damned or Atrocity Exibition A
MetalHeart8787 They would not say impact they would say bonded by blood
This is such an Awesome interview, We all Love all these bands from back in the Good Ole days !
This far into their career I was absolutely Blown Away by Titans of creation. So many good riffs so many good songs and CB's voice is top-notch. Vinyl release is amazing as well. Metallica should pay attention
Good interview because of a great interviewer. Way better than reading questions off of paper. Must be fun interviewing a Titan.
Well sometimes you need also to check what you have written down so that you dont forget to ask something important. But thanks for the nice words!

Come to Louisville! Or the Bogarts in Cincinnati! I've seen testament at both and they were incredible shows!
The songs I heard so far are amazing. Can't stop listening to them.
Ive liked what ive heard so far. I even like the Title & the album cover, Testament fan since 1988
I sometimes think that Chuck Billy and Tom Araya are one and the same person or at least related.
need a Florida tour date please
Testament is the best!!!! ❤️
I think it's a great idea to do a brand new album in it's entirety at least on the first tour and film it. That would be great! \m/
Hope that happens. Its a killer album.

Glad This Man Is Still Doin This
hello Testament's fans¡ I am curious about the lyrics of Testament, specially Titans of Creations. Can someone tell me what are they actually about?
Chuck is brillant,, but the interviewer did brilliant as well 🤘🤘
Thanks 🤟
*brilliantly
Chuck is such a cool laid back guy, love Testament 🤘😝 I've never seen them live hope I get to one day!
Chuck has beaten cancer AND COVID-19. Given his age, I'd say he's damn near indestructible.
Great interview They Killed it in Oslo February 8🤘🏼

After hearing that everyone is more involved in the writing this time around, I am EVEN MORE EXCITED!!!! \m/
I didn't care about who wrote, just as Long as Alex was on the Album.
@@MetalHeart8787 James Murphy did an awesome job replacing Alex Skolnick in 90s and The Gathering is probably my favorite Testament album

Testament is just the NorCal Slayer. The bands are so similar. Love them both.
Great interview, great questions. I grew up listening to Testament and heavy metal and I had every Testament CD
Thanks 🤟
My favorite Testament album is the legacy
Chuck is long lost brother of John Favreau
Buck Chilly! 🤘🏼
May 22nd can't get here fast enough. I'll be seeing them in Portland. So pumped to hear them live again💪🤘😈
Chuck Billy is the coolest dude in rock!
The metal God. The metal voice
Chuck Billy. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Living in the Bay Area in the 80s was thrash metal paradise.

If a new Flintstones movie were to be made, Chuck should be hired to play Fred. John Goodman is now too old for the role.
Get well chuck
Chuck has some big paws
Testament only gets heavier and heavier. Titans of Creation crushes!!!!
Its just like a family reunion: Death Angel Exodus or Overkill Anthrax Forbidden Among others all belongs to the 80's
Someone's gotta to say it: he looks like a $5 dollar Tom Araya lookalike.
bloody oath this will be a good LP
Yea it sure is a great album =)
I think Chuck Billy has the COVID 19
Propably yes. Hope he gets well soon. Always been so nice guy 😊
CHUCK BILLY YOU'RE A LEGEND ¡
