This is a good version. I just criticized him for butchering Perfect Strangers recently, but this is the JLT I prefer to hear. He sounded disinterested and out of sync doing a Gillan era Purple tune but predictably does a better job on a Rainbow tune that he has probably sang many times.
Yeah I am a fan of JLT but not his version of Perfect Strangers. I love that song and Gillan. Gillan’s voice is phenomenal and he was definitely easy on the eyes back in the day! OMG ! He was was one sexy son of a gun!
