Very helpful video ... not all clients have time for a full removal so you did your best in the time you had. Contrary to what other comments say, this is helpful for a newbie like me as it shows what you can realistically do if they haven’t got time for a removal and full set, even if you advise it. Thank you so much xxxx
Thank you for your comment! Definitely understand where everyone is coming from in the comments you are referring to, but glad this was helpful to you either way!
Thank you for your work. I wish people would read your comment mentioning that the client wanted a fill and did not want to stay for an entire removal and full set.
I would definitely recommend doing a lash bath beforehand with any set! While you're doing the fill, you can remove any fans that have been closed up or are overgrown.
Thank you so much! :) Definitely can see where those comments are coming from, but in the real world, this is a realistic scenario that can happen! If there was any sight of an infection of extensive damage, definitely would go for a removal and recommending a break from lashes!

Hater gonna hate. I love you and all your videos Yegi! I’m getting so frustrated when it comes to making fans. I have about four different tweezers I try to use and they end up falling apart. (They are cheap tweezers that came in my kit) Can you tell me which tweezers of yours I should start out with for volumes specifically that’ll be easy to work with? Thank you
Thank you so much for watching! One of our educators swears by the G11 for hand making fans so I would recommend maybe trying that one out! I also like our F-1 and G-10 tweezers for making fans :)
Thank you! I finally switched over to your lashes too and I get so frustrated because I end up wasting more lashes than what I fan! 😭 Take care and stay healthy! ♥️
Hey! Thank you so much for watching. We highly advise against trying to apply lash extensions on yourself. The glue is very strong and has really harsh fumes that can irritate your eyes when they are open. The glue can also cause irritation if you get any on your skin. Please go to a licensed and certified lash artist if you would like lash extensions and do tons of research beforehand!

Hey Jamie! Yes I do! Sometimes it's not shown in the video to avoid it from getting too long, but I always use the neutrogena eye makeup remover if there is a lot of makeup residue, the Yegi Beauty lash foam cleanser and then I dry and prime the lashes with our primer. You can skip the makeup remover step if the lashes are relatively clean.
Personally I would take off all that shit and remake everything . Those lashes are full of glue , too much glue and all are stuck from each other !!! 👎
(Sorry just copying and pasting what I responded to someone else) -- thank you either way for watching and taking the time to comment! I totally understand where you're coming from, I wasn't the one who did the initial set and she didn't have time for a full set so I did the best I could to make her lashes look decent and hopefully by the next fill most of those lashes will have fallen off or I can replace those as well with a fill or full set. Changed the title to be more accurate. Thank you for the feedback! I hope this video can at least show different techniques for a fill (if the lashes are in better condition) and answer some questions about fills that I get asked often
Hey! You may not be doing anything wrong. If you can't seem to grip with your tweezers, you may have glue stuck on your tweezers or the tips are bent. Make sure to scrape any dried glue from your tweezers or try out different tweezers!
As a Lash tech , this is beyond horrible! Not to bash nor talk bad but to help and genuinely Point out I’ve never seen proper isolation , proper application nor grabbing the glue correctly! This causes mejor damage to her lashes and could cause irritation 😭👎🏼
Lmaoooo. I hate when “lash techs” say “as a lash tech” girl bye. A lash tech class is at most a day. So stop acting like you have a whole degree!!!!!!!! So as a lash tech/ esthetician...if a client doesn’t want a removal then there is nothing wrong with fixing them at each fill...
It's not wrong! In this scenario, the client was aware that it would be better to remove the set all together and do a full set but due to time constraints she opted for a fill instead. Since she was aware I was okay doing this for her. However, if I felt like the lashes were infected or her eyelid looked red or inflamed, I wouldn't do it for her even if she knew the consequences and still wanted it!

Girl hush! Everyone don’t want all there lashes removed so all you can do is fix so many at each fill until you can get her back on track. So sick of lash police
These lashes are awful and should be removed the fan bases are way to thick , lash extensions stuck to multiple natural lashes ! I’m surprised she’s not in a lot more pain or any lashes left 😬 such bad lash technique !!!
Hey, thank you for your comment! as I mentioned in other comments I didn't do this initial set and the client unfortunately did not have time for a removal and full set so I did my best. I mainly made this video to help people who have questions about fills! If I had the time, I would have definitely done a full removal. Thanks for watching!

When doing a fill and the lashes are dirty or the fans have closed up a bit do you recommend doing a lash bath before doing the fill??

You did amazing saving someone else’s botched job when the client didn’t want a removal. Too bad most of these viewers can’t read 😂

it is it ok to do a lash bath before starting the fill in?
Definitely! Just make sure the lashes are completely dried before priming and starting the lashing process!
Do you cleanse the lashes before each set?

In the middle of doing a mega volume set, and my tweezers stop gripping lashes whats some tips to do next?
Hey! I would recommend always having a back up if you can!

Where I can buy those lash extensions
At our website! Link is in the description
Around 9:20 you stuck a lash extension onto 3 natural lashes. Not proper isolation.
she put glue on all the lashes and stuck
them
together, that was most definitely on purpose
I struggle to banana peel , I can’t seem to grasp the lashes properly with my tweezers ! What am I doing wrong ?😭xx

Thank you for watching!
What lashes do you buy? Where do you get them? And how do you choose which ones?
everything is from my own line Yegi Beauty - you can find the link in the description!
Is it wrong to advise new clients to have lashes removed and get a new set. Or in other words... refuse to “fix” other people’s work?
It's not wrong! In this scenario, the client was aware that it would be better to remove the set all together and do a full set but due to time constraints she opted for a fill instead. 👌👌👌
Omg this is awful those extensions should have been removed yikes

Kyana Davis I literally had to stop the video this poor girl !!!
Agree

These things look DIRTY. 😷
You use primer just for first extension! Or every remove and again ! I’m sorry I can’t speak English very well 🙏🏼
Your english is fine! I apply primer in the beginning only :)
This is awful, those lashes look horrible and clumped together. This is not ok, there wasn’t proper isolatiob

This is a removal and full set not a fill 🙄 disappointing video love. Especially for girls who are newbies & will think this is ok
