There are many different sized fasteners in this video. A basic mechanic’s toolset should be adequate to find the right size wrenches and sockets to get the job done.
This is the worst placed alternator in the history of man … a standard 13mm wrench will not work on the lower bolt .. the pulley in front of the bolt prevents a socket fro Getting on the bolt … beyond frustrating
@@Tierney143 It's a Nissan; machined s'ketti and meatballs under the hood. Wish I'd remembered my last one before I got the one I have, now, and I wish I hadn't wrecked my Scion xA even more. Even as a "small hand" car, that thing was so much easier to work on. 😞
This video has good clips but fails to include the actual tools being used to do the actual task. I rewinded the video about 20 times to figure out what millimeter wrench was being used to loosen the pulley belt. Without that type of detail , This video is useless.
This looks so simple, thank you for sharing
Thanks dude, how did you get keannu Reeves to narorate your video
Your alternator is new mine the bolt on bottom dont want to go loose

Disconnect battery, uninstall alternator, put new alternator, end of vid
Imagine removing a tire just to change the alternator 💀
You could do that or, just jack the car up a bit & release the tension from under
