There are many videos on this project and each one leaves out something that someone else covers. But, this is prob the best one and easiest to follow.
@@RAM228roca That is not entirely true. they are separate items and are not in one whole unit. The filter is small and under the hood. This video shows the fuel pump.
@@BruceGoldston no he is correct 2007 and after Nissan puts the fuel filter with the pump Pre 2007 era have separate filters and pumps On some models both the filter and the pump are inside the gastank But it most recent models they are irreplaceable separately must do both at the same time as they are connected
I wasn't able to reconnect the hose to the new fuel pump. You have to push the hose until you hear the clip click. The hose won't stay connected to the fuel pump if the clip isn't engaged. I removed the clip and still couldn't push the hose far enough to where it needs to be. Am I missing something?
HELP!!!! I have a 2009 Nissan Sentra with 180,000 miles. The PO171 code pop up when I noticed the rough idling. I replaced the spark plug & it’s still sluggish with no check engine light. Should I replace fuel pump to solve this problem???
See what the check engine light say and replace what the code it showing but make sure to diagnose it first before just replace the part instead of just throwing a part a you’re vehicle.
Ground your hands and that new pump to the floor metal before you lower it into the tank, especially if you just pulled that pump out of a plastic bag.
There is what looks like a valve stem (like on tire or AC line) on fuel rail on top of motor, pust the little valve in like letting air out of tire and that will releive the pressure

Thank You. Does anyone know the Part # for the O-ring and Lock Ring? I think mine is leaking
THANK you
You're welcome!
Is the fuel pump the same as a fuel filter on an 07 Nissan Sentra? 🤔
No, but they are in one whole unit; they cannot be replaced individually... the whole unit must be replaced like shown on this video.
