This guy was just a music professor and did it for a hobby and to honor his wife who had a stroke while pregnant (she's better now) is now a professional lights and effects person. He started off just as a guy in a regular neighbourhood. He then moved to a more secluded spot so as not to piss off the neighbours and because he was drawing a bigger crowd of spectators. People all over the country do these things often they use AM radio frequencies tuned for the cars so they don't just blast the neighborhood with sound.

But what you hear is an FM transmitter from the display played over the car radio of those driving by. This isn't the usual Halloween display. Of course the owner of this house may have the knowledge to do it himself for less money. We Americans do not mess around when we decide to celebrate something. Lights on homes for the holidays is just the beginning.
