- The Duke of Sussex “hopes” to see his father “soon” after the King’s “full programme” meant a reunion was not possible during Harry’s UK trip to celebrate his Invictus Games.
Harry has travelled to London to mark the 10th anniversary of his Paralympic-style tournament for wounded veterans and serving military but will not cap his visit by sitting down with his father.
The pair last met soon after the King announced his cancer diagnosis in February and his son, who now lives with his family in California, rushed from America to see his father.

Harry is NOT the founder of Invictus. That was the Royal Foundation with William and Catherine as well as Harry who carried on the responsibility for the games when William and Catherine stepped back in favour of Harry in 2016.
It was Harry's idea that set the ball.rolling and it was if I remember split in half and Harry called his half the invictus games. Lazy W still. Hasn't did much with his half but that did not surprise me!

It’s not a snub. Despite knowing for months about this event, Harry couldn’t be bothered, or was too paranoid, to solidify his itinerary in advance so that a visit could be accommodated. The King can’t just cancel others who have worked out a schedule for someone who refuses to give any notice of visits. But the real reason for not meeting is Harry would not be allowed to visit the King alone so the kid is holding his breath and kicking around in a circle on the floor, thinking he’s punishing the King.

Harry’s fault for turning the Invictus Games into the Vindictive Games. An ABC documentary in the US on the Invictus games a statement was made that William was jealous of Harry’s success with the games. Harry goes to the UK to support Invictus without Meghan or his family’s support but takes her to Nigeria to support Invictus where she will most likely get a warm welcome. It is more about getting good PR for Meghan than it is about disabled veterans. I will Boycott the games if they come to Washington DC and give all my support to the Warrior Games here in the US!

It is not bizarre for families to be permanently estranged, especially when one member makes it his life’s work to destroy every other member. Harry did not invent or create the Invictus games, but he surely created this gaping chasm of a rift with his own family.

King Charles has taken a good decision! After such a long period of scandals and writing bad things about the British Royal Family, it is only normal that the King does not make time for Harry! Weird outings and bad accusations are continuously being spread in the media world by “Harry & Meghan”. This is not something that can be fixed/discussed in the family in a hurry. It will take a long time to repair the family ties because the damage is big and still going on….

H didn’t found it ! He brought what he saw from the US wounded warriors games back to the RF, and H and William wanted to create their version of that for the UK. At some point W wanted to step back to let H have it bc he liked it so much. There has always been a team that runs it and does all the work to run it. H just shows up for major events and supports the cause with his presence.
The last several years it’s come to light that he uses a lot of the money given to the games to fund his and M’s expensive five star lodging, M’s multiple new outfits, private travel, etc…. Shouldn’t he be giving to the cause instead of taking from it.
William gave a million to it anonymously (until it came out bc of one of H’s law suits and complaints, not bc W wanted it out there or to brag.)
As for KC….. neither ye nor the RF can downs tine with H or M bc that absolutely can’t not trust them. KC had enough sense to know that H only wants them there bc he’s afraid he’ll get booed or a cold reception bc mist want him to step down. Of course he won’t bc he only cares about himself. He’s showed us that many times over. As the heir, William has much more responsibility than his brother, so he stepped away from the Games to give Harry some much-needed responsibility and purpose of his own. Had William not been so magnanimous, the duke would've been lost. Years after Megzit, Harry is clinging to the Games because he's failed to develop any credible projects of his own. I surmise that Prince Harry made demands The Crown would not meet e.g. Harry required that he meet with The Monarch completely alone. Or H asserted that Queen Camilla was not to be in attendance. Harry's criteria resulted in the meeting not materializing. Just a hunch.
