I was in a bar in Houston with a friend for this, and the entire bar just erupted with cheers and then that scare with the fumble was one of the biggest change of emotions I've experienced in a while
The bias against hood defensive games is crazy. The Bills Lions game is called an awesome game when the defenses suck on both teams, but when the Texans dolphins game was a defensive show down but because the offense suck they call it a snooze fest?
No need for gratuitous use of the word "fucking" -- you don't sound cooler or more informed. It's a punt-fake analysis. No profanity is needed. Be different.
The Dolphins are not a disciplined team. Their head coach is more worried about razzle dazzle offense than making sure the entire team is ready. He will make a good offensive coordinator when he gets fired.
I’m sorry but what was 38 doing on the dolphins?? Isn’t it a foul to go out of bounds if you aren’t tackling/being tackled? Just weird to see him come out of no where
@@AI-Bundyfirst thing i thought when saw this video should hsve come back refs blew that one my late dad coached both punts teams college and h.s. would tell the guys get outside in keep your hands down 92 did neither on a misdirection fake like this one 92 got there late just held the outside guy up
Bro, the Phins ST has been a pain point for the fan base for the past couple years. Fans have been calling for the ST Coach to be fired for over a year specifically because of things like this. Just pathetically unaware play.
There used to be a rule about handoffs that they had to be sideways or backwards. A forward handoff is not legal. Maybe the NFL changed it. Maybe it's like travelling in the NBA and they just dont call it now.
It is definitely time to fire Chris Greer might be Daniels and the whole coaching staff of the Miami Dolphins there's nothing complete about this team whatsoever there are very few players on this team that Miami Dolphins need to keep Mr Hill needs to go quarterback needs to go blow the whole thing up get a new head coach get a new general manager the time has come the owner needs to stop being Mr Nice Guy! Chris Grier has run this team in the ground there's no leadership blow it up trade Mr Hill for some draft picks!
Punter didn’t fool anybody. They weren’t even looking at him. The play almost fooled the cameraman. I love the game film-style replays from behind the play. Good blocking.
great exposure for the specials game, love the content bro
The kickoff rule killed it 😂
I was in a bar in Houston with a friend for this, and the entire bar just erupted with cheers and then that scare with the fumble was one of the biggest change of emotions I've experienced in a while
yeah was wild, bro should of went down and covered the ball after getting the first instead of risking the fumble
@@Texansfan59Well he did because it wasn’t a fumble. He was down before the ball came out and he knew it.
I always figure its a good fake when the camera operator gets confused on where the ball is.
Where did #36 come from? The sidelines?
That’s what I’m wondering?? Like was he shoved out of bounds early in the play?
Nice catch, thanks . . .
So glad you saw that too, I watched it three times
Was he a gunner?
@@ThirdRhombus978 No.
Marvellous. Fake plays are always fun
“Has me drooling like an idiot”. 😂😂😂😂😂
That was truly a brilliantly designed play. You don’t see reverses on fake punts, and especially with a pulling guard. 👏👏👏
Navy did pretty much this exact play to Army just the day before.
Obungawale is a mediocre running back but an elite special teams player. He even kicked a 29 yard field goal last year when our kicker got hurt
We’ll be using him more playoff time
He's an amazing back in the pass game don't disrespect the goat
Love the channel snd how hype you get about special teams, keep up the great work Pat Macafee!!
There wasn't good football? Both defenses played great. Defense is football, too, and this was a great game for fans of tough defense.
defense is football? what's next, offense is football? my ass. special teams is football. *only* special teams.
@@herzogsbuick Pfffft. *Offensive line* play is football . . .
@@QED_ no. only special teams is football. isaac said so.

Punting is cool
what type of punting you talking bout?? 🤨
Not punting is also cool
TH-cam is so effed up!!!! This comment gets 33 likes when sometimes I make profound comments that get 1 like. What a joke 🤣!
@@greglaprade7507 Those comments are only profound to you. The rest of us find them to be trite, obvious, and overly verbose.
@@teebob21 so you've read all my comments? You're more likely to "like" "punting is cool"?
Where did 36 come from at the end??
We ran the exact same fake punt when I was in HS. We scored but we still lost. We sucked lol
Remember the fake punt in the playoffs game against the chiefs 2019/20
Never thought a channel on punts would be so cool
This play was disrespectful af😂
#32 did his job, holding down the other side of the line. How many times do we defensive players not do that and get caught out of position.
Where did #36 from the Dolphins come from??? He looked like he came off the bench and onto the field to get into the play...
Where did #36 dolphins come from???
Who the hell would want to watch the Dolphins facing the Texans unless you like punts?
No need for gratuitous use of the word "fucking" -- you don't sound cooler or more informed. It's a punt-fake analysis. No profanity is needed. Be different.
What is Townsend's job on this play? Why is he pointing there?
I saw Navy do this vs Army on Saturday, the day before this game.
Lol, somebody share this with the Seahawks please. I mean that organization must believe it's a sin or something to use trick plays.
There's an NFL team called the Texans? I haven't watched football for a while.
Yeah. What happened to the Oilers? Damn, I need to get off the Xanax.
You haven’t watched since 02? Damn lol
on top of it too townsend flopped to get us an extra few yards when there was a scuffle
Are they both fighting for last place?
When you swear I can't share the video with my son - who is all about special teams.
Side note: Watching a Miami punter got be thinking about Reggie Roby s and his foot-above-head follow through. You don’t see that much anymore.
Excellent blocking by 38 year old Jon Weeks
Did 38 run off the bench because he clearly came in from out of bounds.
Why was number 36 there at the end coming off the sideline to stop a touchdown shouldn't that have been a penalty of too many men on the field.
Gotta be careful there, you almost showed the play in its entirety.
I like the part where you showed the actual play instead of clips
Out of the UGA play book
The Dolphins are not a disciplined team. Their head coach is more worried about razzle dazzle offense than making sure the entire team is ready. He will make a good offensive coordinator when he gets fired.
If only the Texans had an offensive line that could block worth a crap.
cowboys need to take notes
Yep. Neither team has Jerry Jones as an owner. 😆
I’m sorry but what was 38 doing on the dolphins?? Isn’t it a foul to go out of bounds if you aren’t tackling/being tackled? Just weird to see him come out of no where
If he goes out of bounds,he just can't touch ball first.
There is no rule against a Team B player (a defender) going out of bounds during a play.
Nice going Tua
The way punting has advanced since 2000 is crazy. I wonder if we are approaching human limits
The trickeration..
credit to coach Ross and Tommy Townsend
Wake me up when you get to it.
I got do see this live. I almost came in my pants.
I was at that game it was wild
Why didn’t he keep on running… oh scary ass
I love fake punts!
Shoutout to Tyreek for only getting 30 yds fr helping me out in the playoffs 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥 (my opponent has)
Love Townsend
heckuva play.
That was clean.
The Special Teams guys can block better then the real Offensive Linemen.
Yep! Because their not facing real defensive linemen 😂
I was there!!
Jets ran a successful fake punt also
I tried this in madden, it never works, then again who punts the ball in madden
similar to Georgia's fake punt vs Texas last week... worked well for Georgia too
Navy did pretty much this exact same play to Army the day before.
Stroud be linked to Nico collins
Broncos and Texans had a good week
Fooling the Dolphins not to hard to do! 😂
Wtg Coach! I don’t even watch football anymore but I love it here great job buddy
Holding on 92
Massive hold. Not sure how they missed that one

It worked because the punter wasn't a part of the play. 😆
But seriously, a really well played fake. The punter pointing probably helped sell it, too.
holding Texans
This is poetry and a testament on why it's not the hits that people should be looking at, but...

didn't the guy fumble at the end, too?
Miami sucks and should fire the whole coaching staff get a new quarterback

Looks pretty sideways
Wouldn’t a forward handoff just be considered a pass?
This would be tolerable without the profanity. Not everyone has a limited vocabulary and has to resort to vulgarity!

That’s because there was no fumble. The ground can’t cause a fumble.

Frank Ross has balls, he's one of my favorite coaches in the Texans locker room.
It seems like we've been seeing not fakes lately, and they have all been very well designed.

Kind of surprised this fake punt didn't "Break fake punting FOREVER" Seems like every game, something breaks the game.
Holding on #92 no possible way, physically, he could've blocked his man to seal the corner.
That guy had to come off the bench to tackle him 😂
You didn’t even show the uncut full play. What a trash video.
Great blocking. The offense positioned themselves perfectly.
Choppy repetitive cuts every time. Add in over dramatic voice. Never show the entire play without cutting. 😂

OMG just show the play!
I guess I'll ignore the hold on offense 92???
