Yeah, that's another one. I completely blanked out. I even forgot the AX24, which is fairly new. I'll use the fact that this is brushless as an excuse. That's new at least. ;)
You always have to unbox, especially when showing the unboxing and keywording the algo ;) This thing looks epic for a tiny tiny rig - it's got unreal low-speed control and the sauce. And look at those poor Norwegian supercars all mudded over. Along with the new wheels/tires, I'd probably try to lengthen the wheelbase a big - stretch it out back.
Thanks. Yeah, it finally arrived the other day. Had to get an unboxing done asap, and was awesome to get to run it on the challenging comp course. Will follow up with a test video shortly. :D
Thank you. Yeah, I agree, it looks really cool. It's crazy fast too, and crawls really well. Must be a decent spread in gearing. It desperately needed some better tires though, at least for crawling. Probably better to use the stock tires for a bit of bashing. 😅
Yeah, my first go at 4ws. It needs some upgrades, but that's how it is with basically any RTR. The motor and ESC works great, so that bit is already in place. And I only paid like 120 bucks with shipping. That's what you give for just a decent, similar brushless setup for like an scx24. I added a link to Banggood as well, as it's a bit cheaper there than on AliExpress. ☺️
@Br0rB I started with a few WPLs, which also needed some upgrades at first, but otherwise work pretty well. I currently got myself a small TRX-4M, it's already a bit difference.
That's how I started two. One WPL C24-1 KM kit for me, and a couple of C24-1 RTR for the kids. All of them upgraded of course. Nice, good looking trail trucks, but pretty mediocre as crawlers. Since then it has snowballed a bit, to where I now have like 7-8 1/10 crawlers (and a couple more builds planned), and like 30 small ones, ranging from 1/42 to 1/12. Plus a few non-crawlers - like the MJX rally car I did a video on recently. :) Still don't have a TRX-4M, but they do look like fun little rigs. I'm currently doing mostly 1/24, since it's winter and indoor crawling weather. Working on making a class 3, four wheel steer, competition rig, and an extra class 2 that my kids can drive. :)
@Br0rB Wow, that sounds very cool. I'm currently looking at the Axial 1/24 C10 V2 with Spektrum ESC. Alternatively, a CP 18 Pro. A Redcat Ascent would also be interesting, but it's not easy to order here. At the moment I'm having a lot of fun with the Traxxas and I would like to make a few indoor videos with it. Have a nice weekend! 👋 👋 👋
Thanks. I haven't found anything on changing settings in any of the many manuals that come in the box. Drag brake in low is super strong, while it more or less free wheels in high gear. In low I'm unable to make it move by trying to push it, while it rolls fairly freely in high gear. So there is plenty of drag brake here. :)
Sure, I haven't done too much to it yet. I've done wheels and tires, and naturally also BrorB RC inserts to fit those. And I have done servos. I snipped off the plugs from the stock servos to make some adapters from 1.25mm JST to regular servo plugs. At the moment it has: Injora 1.0" 62mm Kraken Claw in S5 compound: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_olTdagt Injora 1.0" six spoke beadlock (but any of them is fine): s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oklz3uV Injora 1.0" brass rings in the front: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oDfT3iD 9imod 11kg servo (cheapest high torque all metal I've found to date): s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oD8iBHX That's it so far, but I'll replacing the Furitek Springbok servo I installed in the rear, as it is about as weak as the stock servos. I'll throw another 9imod in there. Even at the lower voltage internal bec in the stock esc, it has plenty of power, and way more than the stock servos.
@@michaelschaeffer3147 I don't have the ax24, but I've seen from others that they are very similar in size. This is heavier though, moulded cage, interior and an extra servo will do that. Size is very similar though, and with better tires and some heavier wheels this will outperform the ax24.
Rocksta bashers was 4 wheel steer MOA 1/24 crawler came out years ago was a very cool and capable rc car. Its what got me in to rcs

That's what I've been told. So I did an unboxing, showing how I unboxed this sweet, little rig. ;)
Ohh, I've been waiting for this to show up. Awesome to see an unboxing of this thing.

That's a nice looking little guy.
It really is. It even has little drivers in there. So, pretty scale. And really fun to drive too. :D
Nice unboxing BrOrB this thing looks super cool! 🎉😊

Nice interesting truck 👍

Nice👍🏾💯🔥
Great video! Mines on the way! Is there any dragbreak settings? Or does the FOC take care of that?

@Br0rB makes sense. Thanks.
Wow it is cool!!!
😍🤩🤩🤩
@@udirc I agree. Excellent work. Would be nice to get some brass upgrades for it. ☺️
Feel free to reach out to me when you have something cool new stuff in the works. :)
This is the next on my list! Maybe you can get the battery up under the hood for better weight distribution.
I'll definitely be looking at what I can do about the battery location. And I'll try to figure other ways to get more weight up front.
I see on your shorts you've made some upgrades. Can you list them or send a link for your upgrades as you do them. Got 1 on the way

@Br0rB Awesome. Thanks for that info. Really helpful. Great work man!
Thanks, mate, and no worries. Happy to help. :)

Haha two of my comments on this vid have been removed - probably bc the algo assumes they were spam. Too much unboxing going on, I guess 🤷♂️🤣
Why, I never. Too many hashtags. ;)
