I intend to purchase the 2024 version of the Gurkha. This video provides valuable insights and personal experiences, rather than relying solely on the company's claims. It's certainly worth watching and serves as a reminder to maintain the spirit of adventure. I appreciate the informative content 👌🙏
Gurkha is a very underrated car, If they can improve their interiors and sort ground clearance, it will eat every 4x4 SUV under 20 lacks. Eagerly waiting for 5 door Gurkha
They have worked on the ground clearance in the new model (BS6 - ver 2). I think the interiors are the same is what i got from the latest adds. Will surely make a video once the new one launches.
If they improve the interior and add features like. Cruze control, steering mounted controls and make some cosmetic changes then no one will beat Gurkha in this segment.
The basic interior approach is not understood by people but force is very good at making an interior rattle free and that interior will last as much as the gurkha and thats atleast 5lakh kms just usual service.
Very true, it a no nonsense interior, meant to take all kind of abuse thrown at it. People also used to crib about the low ps produced by the 2.6 ltr engine in the BS6 version but that is what makes the engine so solid. Absolutely no pressure on it being underpowered and meant to last for a really long time.
No, we wont upgrade to the 5 door one. It would be too big for our requirement. Lookwise we like the three door better. No, havent driven the Jimny yet.
We won’t upgrade to Force Gurkha 5 door for sure as we didn’t like the dynamics. It’s too long for us (we haven’t seen it in person, but whatever videos we saw the middle seat didn’t look comfortable). We are planning to make a video of the new 5 door one soon, will see how it is in person. Thar 5 door will also see when it is launched and then can tell you :). If it seems comfortable for Chica and Ash then why not (the only reason we didn’t go for Thar 3 door was not enough space at the back for the puppers)
The 🎉Gurkha 5-door was successfully launched. However, I always have doubts about whether the air conditioner is effective or not. I believe there are no vents for the rear passengers, right? What has been your experience with it? I'm from Hyderabad, where the temperature is reaching 45°C. Does it work well at this temperature?
The ac is strong enough to cool down the whole cabin. There are two settings available ‘Max’ and ‘Min’. In summers we use Max on the lowest setting and it suffices for us here in Pune. The 5 door version that was launched a day back has ac vents for the middle row as well.
I saw this video after the launch of 2024 5DG. Force motors missed the opportunity to present a wholesome upgrade. 2nd row bench seat is a joke: its too cramped with no leg room for average built person and the infotainment system looks very aftermarket. The biggest thing going in the favor of new G is tuned engine to belt out 140ps and better GC. That's a big thumbs up..
Haven't seen the 5D version in person but whatever videos we saw the middle seat doesn't look comfortable. The infotainment in the new version looks actually a downgrade from the BS6 version. For us (The BS6 owners) the better GC is the most welcome upgrade.
It will definitely have more power but i think the interior is more or less the same. They have changed the odo to digital and have added tpms and some more features in the odo itself.
Power kadhi Kami watli hoti ka? Ani how is the headlight throw in the night? Khoop chan Review as always. Was eagerly waiting for your Gurkha ownership review
We never felt it to be underpowered maybe because of our driving style. On highways too we stick to cruising between 80-100. Forgot to mention about the headlight throw in the video. The throw is very poor, we have changed the bulbs of the fog light and use it along with the headlight to get better visibility.
@@sattwikchakrabarti just check Thar sales figures for recent months, the diesel variant accounts for almost 90% of the sales. Gurkha comes only in diesel manual. The figures itself denotes the preference for diesel vehicles over petrol in this segment in India even in the BS6, 6.2 era.

Its a lovely vehicle. Not for those who want a lot of creature comforts. Husky ji ko pranaam 😊.

Love from Jammu 🤘❤️
Very nice review.
The only issue in my G also the lower control arm and so I am planning to upgrade to the new BS6.2 2024 5 door version.
Yes it’s the biggest issue faced by us (the BS6 owners). Great that you are upgrading to the latest version. Best of luck.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊good information

Lovely straight from the heart !! Is that an antenna for radio on the front bonnet ? My radio just doesnt play in my gurkha 😂
That’s an antenna to judge the height of the vehicle especially while going in underground parking or through underpasses
❤❤ superb review 👍 gurkha❤
Thank you

2 question-
. Will you upgrade to 5 door Gurkha after its launch.?
. Have you tried jimny.?

Will you upgrade to force gurkha 5 door or thar 5 door ? 😂
Which would you prefer

Ma’am seat covers kahan se liye
There’s a shop in Pune near Nasik phata
hi planning to buy new gurkha and i just wanted to know tht have u ever faced any mechanical issues
No, we haven’t faced any mechanical issue
Everything is good, just put a good quality petrol engine and automatic transmission
Hardcore 4*4 enthusiasts would always prefer a manual and a diesel engine. Automatic transmission would certainly appeal the masses.
@@ChicAshAdventures In BS6 era that doesn't hold true any more....

@ChicAshAdventures Thar is for chapri mentality people. A lot of them are 4x2 and are used only to show off.
I prefer Scorpio N 4×4 or thar
Those two are not as capable as Gurkha. A true offroad enthusiast would prefer Gurkha.
