  • I'm a Teacher and this is my first reaction to hearing Jelly Roll - Save Me. I think this song is absolutely beautiful and meaningful and something that allows people to know it's ok sit with and to feel down sometimes.

His song has helped so many people. I went to rehab for the first time in my life at 52 years old. Never in my life I thought I would be in that position. This song made many people cry and figure out their positive future

Jelly went and visited the youth dentention center he was held in when he was in his teens. He paid for a custom recording studio to be built at the dentention center and funds a program to teach kids to write and record music. He believes creating music is a type of therapy that can really help the youth. It can help them to learn to deal with emotions and hardships. Its a therapy that youth are actually willing to participate in and work at. He never told the public about creating this program. He just knew it could really help the youth and thats all he cared about

Jelly Roll is a hell of a rapper as well. Country music is just his latest genre. Should check out some of his earlier stuff. He has quite a backstory.

I’ll be checking out these songs, Thanks for the suggestion. Ever since I started this channel I’ve been made aware of so many artists that break the mold when it comes to their genre. Meaning they don’t just stick to one genre but branch out others. I think that is a much better representation of what it means to be a creative. Rarely do creative people have one interest, one medium, one genre.

I would love for him to do a reaction to fall in the fall. That will probably always be my favorite

Sometimes a song is so raw it’s hard even for reactors to stop. I’m glad you did decide to do this. I don’t like country either but I heard something different he did and paid attention. What a voice! Then I listened to this song and his whole backstory and emotion just pours out.

If you truly love music, that’s done in an awesome way, despite it being in the country industry, you have to react to Chris Stapleton’s Star Spangled Banner(Super Bowl halftime), Tennessee Whisky, & Cold. One can’t love music & not like them!!🎼🎸🎶🥁🎵

Have you ever lost everything in your life?
    Don't judge unless ye.
    The judged.
I've been there I've done this. I know what it's like to lose everything in your life your hopes and your dreams. Everybody will figure it out the hard way.
Believe me or not it's up to you.
I didn't there and I've done it. I'm still doing it and I'm living I'll buy myself.
And at home a white from my family?
So I know what it's like?
Don't be judging people unless you wanna be judged.

His story is so unlikely it seems impossible. He used to be a cocaine dealer, he served years in prison for robbery. His daughter was born while he was locked up and he knew he had to change his life for her. He got out and was living in a van and supporting himself by competing in freestyle battle rap competetions. His daughters mom was battling addiction and went into rehab. Jelly met a highend call girl in a bar in vegas. Her name was bunny and from that first night together They were never apart again. They swore to change their lives and take on the world together. Bunny got Jelly a condo in an area with good schools so Jelly could get custody of his daughter and give her a fighting chance at life. Fast forward to this song. Jelly wrote the song but was very self concious of his voice and appearence. He grew up on the outskirts of Nashville and has always wanted to be a country singer but didnt know if his voice was good enough. He didnt know if this felon covered in face tats would ever be accepted into the genre. Bunny convinced him to release this song and make the video. Within a year this independent rapper is the winniningest artist at the 2023 country music awards. He was nominated for three awards and won all three. Check out his acceptance speech. Its emotional. He also recently spoke in front of congress in regards to the fentanyl crisis. Bunny started her own podcast called "The dumb blonde podcast" its incredibly popular and is in the top 10 podcasts in the country and she has her own sold out tour recording podcasts live

I guess it depends on what kind of mood you're in because Jelly has all sorts of songs. Just about any song you choose will be a good one. If you want to just get a raw feel of him wrapping I'd listen to the 10-minute freestyle it was recorded right when he got out of prison but it shows you where he started he does some collabs with struggle Jennings that are really good and Adam Calhoun and Yelawolf and even Andrew Schulz the comedian

Teachers are so unappreciated. Your child is with their teacher the majority of the day and they have such an impact. My sister is a 30+ year teacher and think she tells me our heartbreaking. Just try to take care of the kids.
