I am from Italy, and happy for the Italian police car in the game. Very very very good.

Great review. Interesting that you mentioned PS2-like graphics, because that was my initial impression as well. But as you said, that’s not a bad thing, especially when the game runs smoothly. Probably will pick this up. Looks fun, and nice accomplishment by essentially a solo developer. Thanks for posting the review.

You say the car auto accelerates? You don't control the speed?

correct! at first I didn't like this in concept at all but after playing for a while I realise you wouldn't ever really need to take your finger off the acceleration, your speed is more dictated by the management of your turbo. it's kind of a psychological thing I think, for me anyway. I'd be annoyed if Mario kart auto accelerated, but at the same time I never take my finger off the button the whole race anyway haha

Looks like a very fun pickup for $2 one day.

Great review, already preordered and I was thinking Chase HQ buying it and you have confirmed it's the idea behind it, which makes me feel better about my purchase. I do agree I want some kind of into like Chase HQ and and the end of the chase. Some kind of radio talking to make you feel more like the cop vs criminal. 60 fps is very nice to hear too. Lets hope the developer can add some more bits into it to make it as much like Chase HQ 2 without copyright issues. But wecome game to my collection. Wish the last coin op of Chase HQ would come to Switch or PC. I dont see whey this cant run on the switch.

Yeah I don't understand why they don't just dump all the old retro games on modern consoles wrapped in emulators these days. Minimal work for the money. Put enough of them out there and they will provide a constant trickle of revenue for the license holders. But in the absence of this, it's great to see indie devs taking the initiative to fill the gap in the market :)

Out of left field, but I'd take a re-release a Ray Tracers on modern consoles.

"It runs at a solid 60fps" ... absolute lies. No Switch has ever reached above 12fps, these reviews are just sped up. 😋

Haha! Tbh the footage on this review is actually only 30fps because the Genki capture card can only do 30fps at 1080, so even this review isn't a fair representation of the buttery smooth 60fps the Switch is renowned for 😆😂

Games can run 60fps on a Switch I have one and many games do. I am also a long time Pc gamer and sim racer so am used to the real sims. But I dont ever slate smaller systems like the Switch as this is a main system for some. And a fantastic hand held system and love the Indie and retro stuff on it.
