Featuring Christian Wolf, Andrei Cerbu and Rick Benbow. This is actually the most requested song on my channel but it was really hard to recreate, especially the organ parts, but also the vocals, bass and guitar bits. Without Rick, Andrei and Christian it would have been impossible to do. A big Thanks to everyone involved!
Hopefully, this song brings back some memories and makes you smile. All patrons of Andrei and myself will find a free download on our Patreon pages:

I have a history with this song. Outside an Air Force Base near in Osan Korea in 1969 I asked a sweet girl to dance to it. Needless to say the dance was over before the song ended. I married the girl in 1972 and we lived together until 2020 when she passed away. Thanks to Sina-Drums I have the best version of this song to bring back memories.

Zina, I realize you will never read this because of the millions that listened and recall that year in 1969. I was a flight engineer in Vietnamese on a Chinook helicopter. In Augusta that year, only a few weeks before I was to return home, my aircraft was shot down and crashed. I was ejected from the aircraft and recall nothing after that. Back then, unless the medics saw blood, you were told to “ rest up and get back to work”. I woke up on my bunk bed to this incredible piece of music and FELT THANKFUL that I was alive and survived the aftermath of flying through the air.
To this day….55 years later, if I’m feeling down etc….. I turn your excellent Cover on and realize my blessings.
THANK YOU, Sina and band members for creating this Emotional Medicine, which becomes most effective with volume. Dan E. PhuLoi Black Cats 213 ASHC,

I am 75 year-old and I’ve been listening to rock and roll for most of my life. I have been playing this drum solo for 50 years on pans, buckets, cabinets, anything that makes a beat. Unfortunately I don’t have drums and I don’t know how to play them but I know every single beat of that solo. SINA DOESN’T MISS ONE OF THEM!! Her rendition is simply perfect. My heart explodes of joy and envy.
I have been following Sina for years and she and her friends are the most accomplished musicians at their young age. I believe that Andrei was 13 or 14 in their early videos and he was already an incredible guitarist. And all the other performers Sina has featured in her videos have been perfect as well. Congratulations, kids. And, obviously, that these congrats go to the other two musicians who also excelled.

One night while the drum solo was going on the rest of the band left the stage and was socializing with the crowd and lost track of time. By the time drummer got their attention and got them back on stage the song ended up taking about 30 minutes.

I would like to speak to those that gave this a thumbs down and especially those that made snarky remarks. I have been in music for over 50 years and in my opinion (for what it’s worth) is that this was a very, very good cover. There is no better or best. There is only someone’s interpretation of how they feel the song. There is no age, race, color, or nationality. There is only the music, and it feeds the sole. It’s a matter of personal taste. If you like it listen, I if you don’t, don’t. That being said, talent is talent and this young lady and here friends have boat loads if it!

Today is Sept 22, 2020. I’ve been a long time follower of Sina going back to 2000 subs. That said of all of the incredible covers she and her family n friends have done, this recording is my, ‘go to’ as it were. I’m a Vietnam Veteran and flew Chinooks as a flight engineer from 1967-1968. Two weeks before I was to rotate back to the state’s my aircraft was shot up really bad upon landing with a double sling load. I was blown out the back of the aircraft by overpresdure of an ordanance hitting the aircraft. From that point on I don’t remember very much. I woke up laying on my bunk twenty hours later to this incredible piece of music. My room mate had two tall pioneer speakers and the music was full on. I recall hearing the cacophony of different instruments and tempos that had a powerful influence on my awakening and realizing I my foggy mind... THAT I WAS STILL ALIVE. To this very day if could ever state that a piece of music saved or changed my life this one is it. Creators of masterpieces of art seldom realize the depth of emotions they create in the art. For me Iron Butterfly is the creator of the original. However Sina and friends, with their incredible production and musical talents have put a beautiful finish to this long dusty piece of art. THANK YOU Sina.

For those who don't know, When this song was first recorded, the group Iron Butterfly was drinking red wine and smoking pot between takes. They did over 20 takes to get it perfect and as they kept playing they were getting more and more wasted. By the final recording the lead singer was slurring his words and it came out "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" but real words were " In the Garden of Eden" baby. - They ended up keeping the final track and changing the title of the song. (lol) That's a true story.

I hadn't heard that story before and I go back to when this was a new song :-) It reminds me of a Simpsons episode where the Simpsons are in church and the Reverend Lovejoy turns to the organist to play a hymn. She plays the organ part of "In the Garden of Eden" - with a flash forward to skip most of the solos - and then ends the song 17 minutes later, exhausted. Meanwhile, the church lights are mostly out and the entire congregation has raised lighters just as we used to do back in the day....

Yes i was there...18 years old in the 60s dropping acid on Calhon street at U. Of Cincinnati blasting this song. So what can I say about this cover? Well...first..the organist: This guy is effortlessly perfect..he can even go over his car repair bill while playing this song without missing a note. The bassist/singer: He captured the soul of this song..a dark garden of eden..perfect for this. The guitarist: This is a young man's song and he owned this song for his generation today. Im glad he wasn't a copy of the original..just original for this song which made it fresh for now. Finally...Sina: what can be said other than i hope to be watching her when she is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Game

Vietnam 1968 there was nothing better than a dry hooch, good weed, and In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. Thank you Sina for this, I know it has been 6 years ago but it still floods this old man's mind with some good memories, (If there is such a thing in a War.)
FANTASTIC !!!! Right before I watched this video I played the album from Iron Butterfly and this song.
Well I have to say that you nailed this one on the head. This is the best cover I have heard on this song.
Great job and thanks to each and everyone who worked so hard on this one.

I was a big fan of Iron Butterfly as a teenager and had the drum solo memorized in my head. She is incredible, I never heard anyone duplicate it so closely with her own parts added to it. Excellent !!

I first heard this song in August 1968 just after it was released when a school friend of mine came bursting into our classroom with a cassette copy he'd made from his LP, begging us all to listen. I couldn't stop listening to it - I know the drum solo by heart after 54 years and this is one of the best re-interpretations of it I have ever heard !

There was 17 minutes of my life well spent!
Had to dig up my original album I bought way back in ‘68/‘69 (?) to play for
first time in decades. Classics never age and now I’ll see Sina and group
as a visual backdrop. Thanks for the trip back.

Great cover you ALL.... GREAT!!!!! Young lady you nailed the drum solo. Nailed it!!!! This girl is so relaxed and focused, impressive! She has such a light grip on her sticks and great wrists. Very good to be so young!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was 16 when I saw this performed on stage in Richmond Va. Iron Butterfly gave a great performance on their last tour. Unfortunately the Small Faces were too drunk or stoned to perform that afternoon with great bands playing one after another. Just got to the drum solo on the video, still sounds great after all these years. These young people should be performing in a coliseum packed with rockers

This is unreal music, a lot of work has been done! The guys had to work hard to record this video! Many thanks to Sina team for this music! In fact, it's not very easy to play the drums exactly, in a slow pace, a long time in the same pattern, it's hard not to get lost! Sina showed herself here at her best! Sina, my applause for you!

Pulled out an old Iron Butterfly cd from under my truck seat, played only IGD and wanted to know if SINA attempted it. I was THRILLED that Sina took this on, love to watch and listen to her collaborations. AWESOMELY DONE SINA! Thank-you Christian, Andrei and Rick for putting your talent and energy into this (it must be exhausting) jam!

Wow, what a great drum-solo. Since I was 17, it's been a very long time, this solo has accompanied my life and, especially on my birthday, I listen to the song again and again. A fantastic cover of a fantastic song.

I was a drummer as a teen when this song first came out, and into my 20s. It was the Holy Grail of solos among aspiring drummers, one you wanted to master more than any other. From a purely technical standpoint it's not difficult to play, but it is the one thing that is most important: It's perfect. It's exactly the solo that the song requires. That perfection is what Sina captured here so beautifully. No one else I've seen has even come close.

You have to know folks from the 60's generation don't know no syncopation , however I looked it up and the definition nails it! Brings back memories of blotter. windowpane & micro-dots. Now I have to smoke a bowl & listen to Sina and her friends play this again. Back then I bet a girl she couldn't kiss me for a whole song, you know I played this one. LOL
