@@rgslick6511 its not grok who makes the mods. Most mods are made by other people. And btw expect lesser mods bc modding un UE5 is extremely hard. Xray for example is really easy

Why though? its more logical that long standing fans of the label would be drawn to any new info about STALKER 2? I for one still own some of the CD`s from when the 1st games where released.

Well, no Sherlock, captain obvious. Maybe that's got something to do with them taking a bazillion years to finish their sequel? I've told my great great grandchildren about this amazing stalker game I used to play when I was a youngen. But this was centuries ago and they've passed away cos of old age since then. I tried to keep them holding on, just to hold on a little bit longer, for maybe they'd get a taste of that sweet stalker2 juice but alas, it was not meant to be.

@@AstoraNoble first of all, it's a joke mate. And second, they're not developing a game in the MIDDLE OF A FUCKING WARZONE. They were in Ukraine (which wasn't a warzone 17 years ago) and now they've mostly moved elsewhere.
Saw a headline that caught my attention, but didn't want to click the article, know what it was about now. (Headline read something like "things are changing for Xbox gamers on Oct 17th - makes sense now). Never played the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game but have been waiting for the sequel for a few years now, looking forward to this.
Yeah when I seen that article I was like .... OOOOHHHH!!!! and then when I seen that Stalker might be making an appearance during it, I was super hyped!! 🎉🎉😍😍
I played one of the Stalker games back in the day, very fun and very tough and scary 😅

There are 3 games and Tons of mods for them. Maybe less than Skyrim mods quantity, but still maybe 10000+ mods.

Im amazed how much these devs care about this franchise. Through all they setbacks, theyre still trying their hardest to release this game just how they imagine/want it. And even with all that. The doom posters will still do their thing smh.

To be honest there will always be people trying to knock things down, regardless of what it is and they’ll always try to find the tiniest thing to complain about!
I’ve pre ordered the ultimate edition as I feel this is a project and company that I want to support through ways like this because you can see the work and effort they’ve put in 🤘🏻🔥

Yeah I think November 20th is the official release now as it looks like the game is pretty much ready to ship 🙌🏻

Just about got it to run on my crappy computer must have been about 2016-2017 when I discovered the games when a buddy told me about it

Yeah the original games were awesome, however I only got to play the second one I believe 🤔 scary as hell and loved every minute so I’ll need to download the trilogy again and play through them before the Nov 20th release 🤘🏻

talking about the voice acting? yeah its difficult to listen to western accents when trying to believe they are Ukrainian . . .I`d prefer using English speaking voice actors from Ukraine to do the English version.
Given how the game journos whine about it being "hard", it doesn't look like they did, beyond due modernization :) I'm ready for my slav jank, can't wait to see cod kids get totally pissed at things not going their way.

I played some mods for original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. They are awesome. But I recommend everyone to try to deep dive into the original vanilla trilogy. It still rocks. And it is a piece of 2000th Ukrainian game design still available. It's a shame you can not find some other Ukrainian cult classics like "Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason", "You Are Empty", "Vivisector: Beast Within", "Boiling Point: Road to Hell" etc. Google those games. For the most part, only S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Metro survived.
And yes, modders are getting a new platform. I'm looking forward to trying out their work.
I am 100% pro modding but my guy why are you shitting on the game? the zone is different for everyone and each should be left to play it in the way they like. . . this us vs them bullshit is pointless.
